Well, to be fair, that IS his job. Or at least, that is what Obama obviously expects him to do. My guess is the reason he's leaving has more to do with his faltering on dancing around the issues than it does anything else. Perhaps he and Obama didn't get along too well behind the scenes. Or maybe the stress of the job just wore him out. Whatever it was, I seriously doubt it had anything to do with him not being truthful with the press.

I agree though. I didn't like him either. But that's par for the course. I don't like any of Obama's people.

I don't know how Jay Carney lasted as long as he did. I actually felt somewhat sorry for the guy.
