The usual....just some guy who I have been seeing off and on for past 2 years....an old flame from my college days....he's been messing me about...on/off/on/off......so today I called it quits....wont be treated like that any more.

Funnily enough he'd called it off at the beginning of February last year....that''s when I did the Valentine's thread...helped me get over him.......looks like another good reason for doing Valentine's thread 'Part deux' this year......

My heart is in eclipse mode now....("once upon a time I was filling in love, now I'm only falling apart...nothing I can do, a total eclipse of the heart...")
Been hurt so many times I think I'm permanently numb.

I've just had a really stressy day, so will be here for a while.

Yes do another Valentine's day thread for those of us who shall be valentineless. I'll need cheering up for sure!!!!
I'm like Jacy and numb. I can't even imagine putting myself in the position to be hurt like that again. So many years of my life wasted on someone who I trusted my very life with, my heart and soul and then after over 30 years (was it 34?)...wham! I felt like a fine piece of china being shattered. How he could do that to someone as loving, sweet, thoughtful and fun loving as me? LOL What? It's true!

Too much good competition in the writing contest. Wow, some impressive pieces. Still waiting for Pheonix and Jacy to jump in. Jacy, I have been having a bit of writers block myself. I almost didn't post the story that I did, but I didn't want to just give up. I figured, I won a couple of competitions already, so if I lose this one, it will be ok.

Unlike Jacy and Night...I'm not numb, I just no longer care. I've accepted that I'll be a life long bachelor, though if the Good Lord wants to set me up, I'll be tenuously open to it. LOL.

I stopped looking for love and instead figured it would be best if it found me. But in the meantime, I'm happy with my lot in life overall. There are hiccups, but that's to be expected.

Hi Dawg! I do hope that love finds you one day. There is nothing better than having someone to share your life with...as long as they still care anyway.

No worrys Night. I have plenty of people that I care about and those who care about me. It's all good.

However, on the subject of my current hiccup...If I ever find out who stole and trashed my Jeep, I will effin' rip off their head and $#!t down their neck!

But other than that...I'm actually a nice guy!
