That old thread was about what looked like a guitar pick in the original photo. Also I noticed it was upside down from the online source photo. Odd?

Patrolling around the grounds on this cold and silent night. All the while The Football Man listens to some Montgomery Gentry playing low over the radio.



Plus, Pittsburgh's Black & Gold Demolition Crew won tonight so all it's good.

I Jacygirl. I haven't seen you around in a bit and missed you. I stopped in here just to see if I could catch you and saw your whole story. I'm sorry things have been so stressful for you lately and just wanted you to know I was thinking of you. I'll keep you and yours in my thoughts and prayers (if that's ok) during all of this. Taking care of someone who is that sick takes it's toll on you mentally and physically. Please try to remember to take care of yourself in the meantime.

I have not had a chance to read any contest entries yet, and just so everyone knows, I do not intend to enter this competition. The subject matter posited in the brief just did not produce an immediate reaction, and those who know my process are aware that I work in a single smooth flow, or not at all, usually springing from a sudden and consuming inspiration.

I have not got goose bumps, and therefore I will not be entering!

However, I will be reading as many entries as I can, and I ask everyone to provide me with forbearance during the next couple of weeks. As you may be aware, my colleague was taken ill last week, and has only just returned home from hospital today. Much as the initial concern for his welfare is now somewhat reduced than it was, his continued (and utterly understandable) absence from work has meant that I am still somewhat snowed under in some respects. That is also why I have been posting in the shed less, and concentrating my downtime on thornier threads and issues, than those dealt with in this thread.

I love you all deeply as you know, but I have found myself in need of cause, in need of engaging subject matter of depth and deep complexity, to occupy my mind in my spare time. In short, I needed to be posting on the issues of the day, rather than as a social interaction. I apologise profusely if my absences have been misunderstood as anything else than a coping strategy during this period, and can assure you that I will return to "normal" functionality as soon as the situation allows for it. Much love to all of you!

I started a Story last night. Well, I took some notes as they popped into my head for an outline. I usually don't do it this way as I mostly just wing it. Hopefully I will get better end results this time than I had for My Pandemic Themed Story......Going to check out Your Story Entries You guys. Back in a bit......

So Kat, how is your first Wisco winter treating you? We, here in Ohio, were supposed to get hit as well, but it just turned into a cold, rainy and windy day. Some sleet, but not much.

The one thing that always made me chuckle when I lived in Wisconsin was that the snow and such would fill all the potholes and make for a smoother ride. LOL But come spring time, they might as well have been called sinkholes and a 4x4 was needed to navigate them.

Well, my first offical (Snow Storm) was cool. Of course I stayed up and went out at 1am and (played) shoveled. But it's all but gone now.

As far as potholes, I have never known Wisc. to have road issues. They take alot of pride in there road system. (at least around the area's I have traveled.)

My biggest concern is going to be the slush after a big snow. It tends to pull, I have a truck (suv) so I think I should be ok. Just gotta be alittle more careful.

I saw a Bob Cat sunday nite. The roads were desolete due to the football game. I came around the curve and it was climbing out of the ditch and going into the woods. REALLY COOL!!! He was looking right at me. WOW They are big. For a split second I thought I was looking at a Canadian Lynx. ( thought I saw the long side whiskers) I couldn't see the ears or the tip of the tail, so I don't know. But I was so cool.

I'm wondering if thats what scared my cat that nite. They have such creepy faces.

Then you haven't traveled Sauk county and the adjoining county roads much, where pride is not in their road crews lexicon. When they do fill them, they usually stick a good two to three inches above the road. They go from potholes to speedbumps. LOL

Awww Geee shucks and golly darn Night!! Thanx for Thinkin' of Me when You saw the Dragons!! I am looking forward to some random surprises from You in the days ahead!!

CC has sent me some awesome Dragons Images over the Years that were nice Additions to My Keep. Unfortunately some have been lost due to Hard Drives going Bad. I am always on the Lookout for Cool Dragon Imagery though!! I do have some that survived as I would find another source online of some that I lost, and remembered that they were the ones She had originally sent Me!

Cool how sometimes an image can provoke a good memory or two, eh? I do Love That Gal and sure am glad that She is still by My side. I do believe that mostly I would be lost without Her here, and possibly Her thoughts as well for Her without Me(?) as We have been together for like almost Half of Her Life, and 2 years shy of Half of Mine!!!!!!
27 years is a long time, to me, and I am sure to Her. I know I have instilled some good Memories in Her Mind, but wish there were more Good/Better memories for Her to remember......
I can only try to make some new better ones now, right??!!!!!!

That's a good tune Gimme! I usually don't listen to too much other than Hard/Heavy Metal , but I will listen to stuff posted in here, and other threads. Just for something different. I actually like, well can tolerate a pretty wide variety of Music. I always experimented in My younger days, to find stuff that I found I liked and would have probably missed, unless I did the experimentation!
