Yea, they'll be providing pain/sleepy meds. Though it is the VA that is performing the procedure, so I'm a tad nervous. They have such a stellar medical reputation and all that.

But to be truthful, I actually like my VA here. They do good work, but their record keeping is lousy. I expect to see a letter in the mail telling me that I didn't show up for my "Photo Shoot" and that I will be penalized if I continue to no show. Luckily, I keep records of everything...though I shouldn't have to.

And yes, my celebration meal will be held at "The Restaurant at the end of the Universe." I think I'll have a good chat with my meal before digging in.

In yer case, it does seem a good idea to keep your own set of records! CC's records of a very complex surgery/proeedure were taken by the doctor in charge when He left Iowa City Hospital, and went to Oregon. Her's was pretty high end on their scale of complicated procedures, so We figure He must have thought them valuable enough to steal. Value in the sense of importance, in teaching prob...... He could have been cool enough to leave a copy however, Ya know?......

Glad to hear that they are Human enough to give medz for comfort. That will definitely help You out!!

Yea, I do have a temper at times. But I really would prefer to be mellow. But that isn't the way it is in life. I had a troop who was a counsler in her real life who told me that I was bi-polar.

It sure is tough to get old. LOL Didn't help me any when I was hit by a mini van as a pedestrian years ago. As much pain as I had from my back, it became soooooo much worse after that. I was never the same. And after having cancer, I don't dwell on it, but have to admit, it lurks in the back of my mind. Scarey! Then there's the common stuff like elevated cholesterol and blood pressure and my history of elevated white blood cell counts... Jeeeez!

Thanks for thinking of me and praying Honey!! I'll be praying for you too. Oh and if they find polyps when you have your colonoscopy, it is quite common and they remove them right away while you are there.

Cody cool site! Syx, thanks for posting it! I have some small dragon sculptures and one big one that has a castle and a crystal ball which is cool. I also have this awesome faery sculpture by Amy Brown with a guy and girl faery and their wings actually move, but Mark lost the plug for it. GRRR! Oh and we have dragon crystal glasses too. And dragons in a circle with a small glass dish on top where you can melt scented wax. Oh and another dragon wax melter thingy with colored panels and a mirror and it lights up.

Well, it's too bloody warm for the time of year, we spent most of the month, including a frantic last two days, making ready for a fire inspection, which did not go too badly, but has absorbed a lot of our time over the last little while, we have had some truly crap trade, aside from a couple of really great shifts.

Other than that, life is life, and there is little more to report!

Good lord what the hell???? 371.00 for blood work this time!!!! Yes, three hundred and seventy one bucks! I get angry at the cost of any medical crap. It will be another 50.00 next week when I see the doctor. The specialist I see after xmas will be 379.00 just to walk through the damn door and because I had cancer before he wants all kinds of tests. Out of three I took one test the last time. And there is a test my regular doc wants but aint getting. I still have to make that mammogram and eye appointment yet. I need to rob a bank. No wonder people rob banks. Can't blame them. LOL

Phew, finally got my internet back.

The residential disgruntled young adult is back, after a temporary switch of location. I'm in the middle of moving (still), so I haven't had the time to be on. The new place is a bit smaller, but it'll be warmer (due to how old the building is, it actually retains heat quite nicely. The only problem is that it's looking like it will be 85 degrees all winter long).

Fossssssssssss! I was worried and wondering where you were. Thank God you're back! I was even calling for you and looking for you on the ship in the story! LOL Oh, we are on land right now, and when we sail now, we are all on the same boat which makes things so much easier! When you have time and if you are still interested, just join us on land.
