If the German's play by Russia's rules that means they have the right to protect German speaking people in Slavyansk...and the rest of Ukraine...

Not surprising. From everything I've read, and that's a lot, the German government was the primary force behind the Ukrainian coup (with a US go ahead and auxiliary support). Here we go... This is the kind of thing that is a trigger for war.
And the vast majority of the US population doesn't even know a coup took place that kicked all this off.
And you have evidence of this?
No? What a shock.
The leadership of the Euromaiden protests is composed of three rightwing capitalist parties. One of those parties, Svoboda, is openly fascist and celebrates Nazis who fought for Hitler in Ukraine and who murdered large numbers of innocent victims including Jews, Poles, and Communists. Both U.S. Senator John McCain and Assistant U.S. Secretary of State Victoria Nuland have appeared at public events supporting the Euromaiden standing side by side with neo-Nazi leader Oleh Tyahnybok. At a rally in Kiev on Sunday, Dec. 15th, John McCain, standing shoulder to shoulder with neo-Nazi leader Oleh Tyahnybok boldly declared “We are here to support your just cause!” as the neo-Nazi flags of Svoboda and the red and black flags of Nazi occupation filled the audience blowing in the wind.
There are also additional reports from Ukrainians that the protesters are being paid by the United States. This would help explain why protesters have been able to hold out for three months on barricades in a way that most workers, students, and farmers would not be able to do without outside support. This certainly wouldn’t be the first time the United States has paid mercenaries for their services. In fact, given the high level of U.S. involvement, it would be surprising if the U.S. wasn’t paying protesters.
"All 12 people I have on the list were freed," Lukin stated.
Last week, the military observers were captured by anti-Kiev protesters who accused them of espionage. Earlier one of the detained - a Swedish officer suffering from diabetes - was released.
Lukin stressed the release of the observers wasn't a bargain. "It was a voluntary humanitarian act, and we're very grateful for it to those controlling the city," he said.
Local insurgent leader Vyacheslav Ponomaryov confirmed the releases.
"As I promised them, we celebrated my birthday yesterday and they left. As I said, they were my guests," Mr Ponomaryov said.
"We are not stopping," Mr Avakov wrote on his Facebook page.

You see, this is the difference between me and the many knee-jerk pro-Russian anti-Americans on here, I can accept that there are bad things about this and not resort to propaganda and hearsay. I can understand the complexity of these kinds of events without believing the bullsh*t.
Russia is known to have been pumping propaganda into E Ukraine claiming that people are being murdered in the streets by fascists in Kiev, that Jews are fleeing the country, that religious buildings are under daily attack... this is CLEARLY not happening.
Lets not forget also that Russia really isn't in much of a position to talk about fascism and right wing extremism. This is a country that excludes other races from its population without much thought. This is a country where women are still treated as though they are subordinates to men. This is a country that has anti-gay laws and neo-Nazi groups operating openly on the VK social network. This is a country that has solidified complete state control over all internal media. This is a country that follows the demands of the Orthodox religious cult. This is a country that ignores the very notion of hate crimes.
This is a country where a TV personality can state openly that gay people should be burned alive in ovens, and then be promoted within two months to head a national broadcaster!
Yes, everyone else is a fascist, but Putin is just "misunderstood".

Press TV: Now looking at the current events with OSCE observers, it goes to show the level of mistrust people in eastern and southern Ukraine have with regards to anything connected with Europe. How do you see the role they are playing?
Tarpley: I would have to say first of all, we should stop calling them OSCE observers because all indications are that they are not. That is what the OSCE has been saying continuously since this started and you can see it on their website. There are basically two versions. The Western media say OSCE observers, but the mayor Mr. [Vyacheslav] Ponomaryov, the pro-Russian mayor of Slavyansk, knows them as spies. I’m afraid reality seems to be going in the direction of Mr. Ponomareyov.
These are active-duty NATO military officers. They are four from Germany, one from Sweden, the Czech Republic, Denmark, and Poland. All NATO or European Union (EU).
The German officers come from a place called Geilenkirchen, which is a very important NATO base. This is where the AWACS planes are flown from. It’s one of the big NATO reconnaissance centers and they particularly belong to a unit of the German army, the Bundeswehr, which is called the center for enforcement or verification tasks. In other words, it’s military intelligence. What seems also to be the case, is that they were accompanied by five active-duty Ukrainian officers of the pro-Kiev forces, the ones that are controlled by the regime.

They weren't part of the OCSE mission. They were foreign military officials with weapons that were stopped and detained at a checkpoint. It has nothing to do with Russia. The only connection they seem to have with OCSE is that they are from OCSE countries.
And there have been foreign military personnel detained in East Ukraine, ranging from German colonels to Danish mercs. Why should they be allowed to run around?

It reminds me a lot to the 1920th when Nazis and Commies began to fight each other. Often they were boys of the same neighbourhood. And both sides were as extremist as the other side was.
