I think this comes more from ignorance than intentional bullying.
It's very easy on the internet these days to see a 'meme' of a someone pulling a face and not necessarily realize that, that person could have a disability.
I suspect Shaq would apologize once he sees this and realize how much he's actually offended the young man - I'd like to think he would anyway.

lol..there is a biggggg difference.
Shaq got caught as a first timer and gets his hands slapped, punched in the face, etc.
Sterling is a notorious bigot, scoundrel, racist, sexual predator who has spent decades illegally depriving many, many individuals of fair housing. His convoy of high powered attorneys had successfully scared off the NBA powers for years (up until now) while he groped and molested women and paid them off for silence. He continually discriminated against Asians, blacks, Hispanics and a host of other unfortunate individuals. His rap sheet is so long, we would need several pages to get only a percentage of his misdeeds listed.
Yeah, what Shaq did was wrong and there is no excuse but there is absolutely no room to compare what he did to what Sterling has been doing and what he finally got caught up in.

I tend to find Shaq pretty funny but this was tasteless. It's one thing to joke on your peers and the athletes during your coverage. This was over the line.
On a positive note, this gentleman gained some notoriety (albeit not how he would have wanted it) and hopefully it will launch his campaign rather nicely. I wish him the best in helping change peoples minds on how they view others like him or with other disabilities.

Ha! Retaliatory post on the whole Sterling issue?
Shame on you OP...lol.
Did you scour the entire Internet looking for a "revenge" story?
Look, I am sure there are more than a handful of pro athletes, entertainers, politicians, regular Joe's, etc RIGHT NOW doing and saying racist, derogatory, tasteless and mean things in private and public.
It's just the ones caught, recorded and if the story is sexy enough, it will get wheels.
