Was watching a documentary on disappearances within the Bermuda triangle and something piqued my interest. A fairly recent disappearance of a well
seasoned and capable sailor in the Triangle, his pretty small power boat was found by a "Satellite" and it didn't take it that long to do so.
The bit that really has me stumped over this one is that. Every part of this globe we live on is pretty much covered by one satellite at least and
yet, so far, not one satellite seems to have been able to spot, a relatively large object, flying across its' field of view.
So what do we have? We have an aircraft, quite large one, that suddenly turned off all its' vital systems or, was destroyed in a split second so
catastrophically that, not one single part of any reasonable size was left for anyone to find. I would say therefore, we have to go with the first
scenario, for whatever reason, the crew themselves turned off those vital systems.
We now learn that, concurrent with the plane's disappearance as a known object on RADAR that, another unknown object was tracked in an area not that
far from the plane's last known position. Judging by the comments from the Malayan authorities they are of the opinion that both objects are not the
same as the distance is just too far apart for the known time window.
Then we have the absence of expertise. Currently, no-one with any serious cajhones in the field seems willing to proffer any sort of stab at a
definitive explanation, even as an opinion. in fact, the rumblings from the experts generally seems to be along the lines of. "In this day and age
and given current security alerts and the available technology, this is almost without precedent and there really are, no known circumstances to
explain how and why it happened".
Let's be clear about this, given our current technology, the number of people involved and the size of the aircraft missing, as it stands, this is
the number 1 mysterious disappearance of the last 100 years.
I suspect virtually everyone expected, after maybe a month at the outside then tell tale wreckage would be found or someone would have stepped forward
and laid claim to being responsible. As each week passes it does indeed begin to look more and more as if we are dealing with maybe, something we
might not have encountered before.
One thing that really makes me wonder what did happen is that, it would seem it had to be virtually instant as not one person on that aircraft managed
to get a text message, or even attempted to make any sort of call to say... "Oh crap, here we go".
As it stands, there does seem to be only really three possible credible explanations. Instant and totally catastrophic destruction or, a very highly
sophisticated hijack, both of these for reasons, as yet, unknown to the general public. The third reason would be that, alone or in cahoots with other
crew members, the flight crew took the plane for again, as yet, unknown reasons.
It is now over 3 weeks since the authorities claimed they had received signals from a plane's black box and yet, still we await actual confirmation
that the black box is actually sitting on the floor of the ocean.
