You didn't offend me at all. I am just a very blunt and plainspoken person and sometimes I come off as being curt when I don't mean to. And thank you for the compliments
I don't know what you look like physically but I'm sure you're gorgeous and I like reading your posts because you are very witty and obviously very intelligent to boot. So no worries
Rock on with your awesome self

LOL Thanks! I'm glad you weren't offended. Whew! (wipes brow). I hate to say things that hurt people. That's soooo totally NOT who I am.

Physically, I could stand to lose several pounds. I've gained some weight since I had foot surgery a few years ago. Now I can't walk long distances, or do any heavy impact exercise, like running or jogging, so the weight has slowly piled on.
I've fought the weight problem all my life, but I've never, ever, had a problem getting a man's head to turn. LOL
So, it must be that thing about being confident, intelligent, pretty eyes, and all that other stuff that people are talking about here. (Yeah, bring it on. I love it.) lol Just kidding!

Anyway, thanks for the compliment.

How about I introduce you to her?

That would make for quite the interesting how we met story, if we hit it off..
Sorry for causing all those bumps on your noggin sled. They will heal up quite nicely after eating some delicious rollerbites, tornados and toquitos..

I want to be like, some sort of junk food elf, and go around feeding gas station junk food to all those poor self-starving models and actresses. Maybe bestow them with a couple scratcherz while I'm at it too.
Please excuse my posts fellow ats'rs. I think I might be drunk on nitrates! Mwuh! Oof.

When you and my daughter get married we can all sit around a campfire, leaving our fishing rods in the water, while we pass around the rollerbites, tornados, and toquitos, (whatever all that stuff is!) and tell stories of things we've learned on ATS. LOL

Oops! No mother-in-laws allowed on camping trips with your wife, you say? Sigh.... lost again!

I've always gone for skinny girls in the past, not anorexic, but slim. I've always been pretty slim myself so never wanted anyone bigger than me. I'm not in the position to be as fussy these days, so will take anyone who'll have me.

Okay, so there you see what the media is telling us we should look like, if we want to be the vision of a model. pfffftttt! - See more at: www.abovetopsecret.com...

You are overreacting, there is a focus on being skinny in the modeling world and to a lesser extent in the media at large, but I don´t think anyone is claiming that those women have the ideal bodies, and this is not what
I am used to seeing being portrayed as beautiful.

I was shocked and sent into a state of discombobulation when I googled "over-weight images", and this is one that came up!! - See more at: www.abovetopsecret.com...

I think that is just a mistake. When I google overweight images I get pics of real overweight people.

Ha ha that's easier than the poll I thought I was going to have to take - which was about my weight! Well to be honest my favorite is medium to a bit chubby (I say because I thought that medium girl you gave as an example was skinny).

If someone "skinny" was interested in me, I might be afraid they had AIDS, and I would definitely recommend they go see a doctor - as a psychology major, I would be suspicious that they might have an eating disorder.

I was just surfing the dating sites and hitting up overweight women cause I was thinking they seemed pretty chill, relaxed and fun to be around. That matches my lifestyle, see?

Those model pics look like skin on a skeleton. Sickly and unattractive! It is sad that so many women literally risk their very lives to look like that!!

I agree, Night Star. I don't like it, I don't like it one bit. There is no reason to look like that unless you are confused, or have a legitimate reason, like an illness.

I get the feeling you were half joking here.

For what its worth, i think your last sentence is a nice and healthy outlook.

My first wife was model like. Tall, thin, blond hair, green eyes....a real stunner. She is part of my biggest mistake and my smartest move (our marriage and subsequent divorce). I had no business being married to begin with. But even less business marrying someone who was not capable of being the strong woman I needed, nor capable of being the faithful wife I demanded.

My second wife, who I have been with for 20 some odd years now, is opposite. Short, quite plump, and latina. And she is 1000x's the woman. She is the woman I needed. I wish I would have found her back in high school so we could have had even more time together.

But is it really? I know it was sort of a joke but if your girl asks you what attracted you to her and you say "well you are a woman and willing" she will not be very happy.

Btw, I like "medium" and more importantly, it's about proportion.

Yes, I agree. Being obese is not healthy. Many people struggle their entire lives trying to lose weight, but something in their "genes" just seems to make it almost impossible.

The same can be said for skinny people who want to gain weight. For some of us it's as difficult to gain weight as it is for obese people to lose it.

My answer to this thread is: FIT.

I'm technically underweight according to the chart. I always have been. Aside of two pregnancies and a year of nursing each, I have been the same size for about 15 years. 5'5" and 115 lbs. I did get up to 140 lbs with each pregnancy.

People have often asked me if I have an eating disorder. I do not. I never have. I eat when I'm hungry. I don't eat because the clock says it's meal time or because I'm bored.

Anyway, I've often wished to add a bit of weight to my bust and booty. I'm just not built to be curvy. You don't know how frustrated it makes me to see those meme pictures that say "Real women have curves!" Of course I understand that's a response to the media's image of beauty, but can we please just stop making others feel like crap?

My answer is FIT. A person can be a little overweight and be fit. A person can be a little underweight and be fit. Skinny or plump, neither is very attractive to me if they appear to not get any activity/exercise. I used to be that way. I worked at home and never did anything. I didn't look very healthy then at all. The job I have now keeps me physically active and I do alot of walking not having a car anymore, the activity has made such a huge difference in my appearance and how I feel about myself over the past year.

If one would answer in such a way, they may not be fit for social interaction.

I don't think I'd say it like that. Just make up some story to make sure all parties feel like their in a win win.
