Here's an enhanced image posted on The Aviationist site:

theaviationist.com...

It looks a lot like the cancelled A-12 all-weather naval stealth bomber.

That is COOL! Nice catch!
Just shows how far ahead of the curve we are.

You are missing my point. We should not just trust your word just because you live next to an AF base. That does not make you an expert in indentifying aircraft. Not to mention that the aircraft you do see is at much lower altitude than the OP picture since you live close to the base. How hard is it for people to understand the further something is away from you, your view of it becomes more distorted? You cannot state that this not a B2 as 100% fact, therefore we have reasonable doubt.

Not the A-12. That was a Navy project, this is Air Force.

And if we know what it is? It's not a B-2, no matter how hard you try to fit it into the mold.

It is not a B-2. Not even close. The angle of the wings as well as the outline(profile). DARPA had a proposal for a VTOL stealth aircraft also that would fit the profile.

Is this enhanced image from the website? The picture in the link does not look enhanced, it looks just like the OP. Even this source says they are not 100% sure it is not a B2. Therefore, it could be a B2.

I just love how everyone here is an expert on stealth aircraft. Just as much as I love how so many of you state your opinions as facts.

Oh I see, but that doesn't change the fact that they say they're not 100% sure it is not a B2.

The picture is too grainy to really say what it is

And you are missing my point. People in Missouri see the B2 so regularly that from any distance most of us can tell what it is. Now I am not any kind of an aviation buff or expert, but I do have +20/20 vision and can decipher shapes. I can tell the difference with 100% certainty.

Here is an example, showing just how far I can make out a B2. Save the pic, zoom in. Even with the pixelation, the shape of the B2 can be made out. PS- take a look at the exif data.

Zoomed...

Because my "opinion" comes from people that know exactly what this is. You can try however hard you want, but it's not a B-2.

It definitely doesnt match the recent drone release, or its bigger cousin that is said to have a 130 ft wingspan. Total triangle we have yet to see anything like that.

Several have already been declassified, and one is approaching declassification possibly later this year.

Which have been declassified? Can you give names/links for those?

CRUD*

Just dawned on me. I know someone in the P38 Association that was working on an HVAC unit in one of the major hangars at Edwards. last we spoke he told us about the B3 that's been housed there. Described it as whiteish gray, large triangle. Coincidence?
