How do you know it was still operational as of January? Do you see a retirement date in the near future?

It must have something REALLY special about it to last this long and longer in the black.

The UK and US troops work extremely closely together, and the UK has access to a lot of US tech. They have to, because in the event of a major war, they need to be able to make plans to work very closely with the US in every aspect.

I wouldn't be surprised in the least if the SAS was jumping out of US stealth helicopters and more. Hell there have been several RAF pilots qualified as B-2 Mission Commander, which means access to all the secrets of the aircraft.

Two completely different missions. You can't compare them.

Lucky gits. I kick myself so much these days when I left college at 18 I had the minimum required grades to go into pilot training with the RAF. But turning 18 in England means alcohol is legal to drink, drink leads to girls, girls lead to being broke, more alcohol and then life's plans go tits up. Even during the Libya conflict I sat there thinking if I worked hard enough I could of be doing bombing runs in a euro fighter

Now .. Where's that rewind button

Oh if I was stealth right now I'd be going through underwear on an hourly basis. For the recorded I didn't see what was posted and will not ask any questions.

On topic these images of the aircrafts is it or could it be the same aircraft in the spanloader thread. I think they look different. What sort of crew size do people think it may take .. If any
