BLM pulling out...its over

There is a lot of misinformation regarding this story. I don't think anyone really knows all the facts. Bundy and his clan are of course giving their own version, BLM has theirs, media is portraying theirs. I've read so many things on line and none really make sense.

Is it BLM land or not? Mexico ceded the land in 1846 to the US government. Bundy claims his family started grazing in 1877. Ok Bundy things were way different back then. It was the wild wild west after all. People were settling all over the place staking claims they really had no right too. He went to court twice over this matter and according to a Supreme Court case in 1976 it was the reason why he LOST TWICE!

Now the whole Harry Reid thing. Someone on this site posted a picture of the proposed Harry Reid China deal location and it was way the hell on the other side of the ranch, on the other side of the Lake Mead Recreation area. So how does Harry Reid's little ploy have anything to do with this story?

Third, Country Sheriff's from what I understand have legal authority over Feds and state police. I.e. they can kick them out, arrest them whatever. They are very powerful. Supposedly Gillepsie the Sheriff pretty much ended all this with threats to arresting and putting in jail BLM and other Fed agents.

Fourth, unless it's fact that Bundy paid his grazing fees how is this a win for anybody? One of the excuses being used for this situation coming to a close is that the BLM already managed to clear 100 of his cattle off the land anyways. They basically stole his cattle right from under him. THey claim they are going to share the profits with him. LOL WTF? They are his cattle…..$100K worth.

So far both sides of this story seem to have no reliable facts. Hardly a shot to the next American revolution……..but America just might be dumb enough to go to war over cattle and some old guy's claims. I mean it's not like there are 101 other reasons to go to war with the FEDS LOL…...

I have a question? Maybe two, or three.

If he owes 1 million $ to the "tax payers", how much has this operation cost the tax payer?

Are they spending 2 million to collect a million?

Just curious, seems like a waste.

How much money does this rancher put into the economy? Does he pay other taxes?

Not to mention the price of beef is through the roof!

Just sayin, asking.

If it all boils down to greed and an over blown sense of self entitlement . I hope the people turn on the rancher.


Because that is what is wrong with the world.

Is there any video released yet of the epic showdown of thousands of people standing toe toe toe, being threatened over bullhorns? Conveniently the video at AJ's site cuts off before it, and the next one starts up after the victory. Color me sceptical, but with all those people, why am I not finding viral video all over of this?

This one at least shows a decent size crowd. No thousand people, a few hundred for sure though in my best estimate. Still looking for the showdown though.

This guy didn't pay a damn cent. That's my opinion.
He had the moral, and physical support of an enormous number of people, and to turn around and pay for something (grazing rights), that you already owned in order to end a standoff with a tyrannical agency and Government is ludicrous at best.

The Feds backed out because public opinion was overwhelmingly against them, and there were a LOT of people facing them down in person, not just online.

This is not over. They will find a way to make this guy pay after all of the furor dies down, and the average American can't be nudged enough to pull their faces away from their respective method of entertainment, and get involved.

This was a small victory for the average citizen, but the war is still on the horizon.

Closest I came so far. There are people saying that they were threatening to shoot over the bullhorn. Some you can't tell exactly because of the wind, I only really understood, "Back up" and "You are in violation of......" Still searching. Supposed to be a huge crowd shows up and feds blink first and turn tail. I really want to see it lol.

God Bless The Second Amendment. That's why we have guns and will never listen to the idiots who want to ban them. It looks like Eric Holder rethought having another Waco massacre on his hands , something that the Obama administration would not have been able to survive.
Now we have to go after Harry Reid and investigate the sorry old senile bastard. If he is involved in a scheme to steal land then at the least the people of Nevada can force a recall on him and he can be charged criminally.

I heard the other stream guy saying something like that, but he wasn't close enough to the dang camera to hear it exactly. I think he was on a cellphone to someone or something. Or maybe talking to another reporter there.
