Just heard live report from the area that BLM leaders said the op is over and they are pulling out. Due to danger to agents and public. No link as it was tv but it appears the people do still have some power.

The reporter did say it would take a couple days, so always the chance for the "errant"shot fired to re escalate this.

Not sure why it would take a couple days to turn around and leave?

Lets hope this is not a tactic to catch people off guard, and they are truly pulling out. If they are going then congrats to all the people that stood up to them and showed that they just can't walk in and take whatever they want.

Why now? I don't see any reason given in the news for this. I wonder if they realize how bad this makes them look, ending this right after the story about Reid and the Chinese broke.

Good old Harry had to temporarily pull the plug. FB blew the hell up with this story in the last 24 hours.

im guessing because they have tanks, and its kinda far away.

Lets say you are at work, you get the word that its time to go home...pick up your tools, clean up your work area and boogie woogie to your truck before they change their mind.

How much stuff did they bring in that it will take a couple days to pack up?

Just hope they are not wanting that civilians firearm to mistakenly discharge while they are pulling out

Probably because they know that if they carry out their plan, they're going to start the next American Revolution.

Maybe good ole Alex has a thing or two between his ears after all......
Great news if true....but will this be enough to now satisfy the people?
The taste of power is a heady and addictive rush.......and we have been virtually held captive for so long......
Maybe the backbone of the American people will get a bit stiffer now towards the Feds......

Chalk one up for the little people! This is the way to make a stand, with the aid of militia, and many strong patriots. We the people will not be pushed around. Godamned crooked pols. Congrats to Mr. Bundy, just watch out for them drones.

I haven't seen anything in print yet but I just heard an ABC news report on the radio say that the reason this is over is because Bundy paid his grazing fees.

I just hope this isnt the end of this story.

A lot of accusations thrown out here.

I think we the people need to open an investigation into this.

Maybe The Hon. Mr. Jesse Ventura would volunteer for this job?

Cant have congress do it, cant have Fox news do it....

I bet this new announcement has something to do with it being the weekend, and a boat load of people in support of Bundy were flooding in.

Pulling out or just pulling back from the radius of the drone strike?

Y'all are asking why, but isn't the reason obvious?!
This has been a PR nightmare and was on the verge of becoming a violent showdown between Government and civilians- I'm guessing the executive branch gave the "stand-down" order.
Seems like Government got the message- at least for now.

Some pretty poor organizational skills if you ask me?
"Ah we're gonna pack it in, but don't mind us, if we
just stand around out here in this dry ass, sand blown ,
ash tray, arm pit of america, for a few days while we
pack our things nicely with no real intentions at all".

I wonder how much that guy and his ranch is worth? And if it really did come down to money.

We were talking like 600,000,acres. Not his, but it does make you wonder. I have read his ranch is only 160 acres which is pretty small. Way to small to sustain hundreds of head of cattle
