Men are just as emotionally prone as women. I think the main difference is; men tend to bottle up there emotions, or deny that they effect their thinking.

Wish my ex hub, divorce him 21 years ago February 15th, 1994, would have bottled up his emotions and denied his thinking lmaoroflol!
Haven't spoke to him since lol! It was an arranged marriage to an Anglican Reverend's son, me 15 & him 17......I ran away from an all girls R.C School.....we got sent 13 hours away to a different Province. His brother & 2 sisters as well as him are like on their 5th or 6th spouses so guessing it wasn't me lol!

It's on youtube in 12 parts! I never knew that. Here's part one:

darn, the sound is kind of low and I can't crank it up. Best on other venues, but people will get the idea by watching a few minutes of it how good the film, and Alice Paul, are and were. I wish I could have met her.

Thanks for posting this. What a wonderful and inspiring movie! I had no idea they went through so much!

My pleasure. That's a movie I often recommend, and Swank should have won another Oscar for it (although it's an HBO film and not theatrical, so I guess Emmy would be the right award).

I just read recently that Meryl Streep is making a film in England about Emmeline Pankhurst and her movement, which is the one that really kickstarted the women's right to vote in the west. Alice Paul took it all the way in the U.S. in her 1910s activities (assisted by many others of course, but it's usually one or two thinkers, doers, and strategists who have to have some charisma, good communication skills, and the courage to play on a big stage who carry these kind of movements to completion - although the gay marriage thing seems to have many hands in it and not just a couple.) Alice Paul was one of those who worked every day all day to accomplish what she wanted to do. Then she wrote the ERA amendment, and started in on that.

No offense stormy, but your responses always have a way of confusing me on some level or another..
lol

Game: All answers are still incorrect.
Hint recap..
It's threaded on the bottom. So it screws into something else.
Here's an additional hint. It's a part to something bigger. Bigger than a flask. smaller than a bed frame.

I swear I have a distant memory of running my hands over one of these. I can feel the smooth wood on my palm and the rough rounded edges on my fingertips.....

I just can't figure out where! Is it a piece off of an old child's toy?

I've got it!

Given DenyFlatulence's growing reputation of all things...ahem...sexual, I'm saying this is one of two things

[voice of Cliff Clavin, from Cheers] Well, what you've got there is your standard Ben Wa ball. Typically they come in pairs, but we only see one here. Today, they are generally orb-shaped, but this, here, is probably one of the original ones dating back many centuries - probably before the invention of the wheel. Of course it could be plug too.

That's a bit of a stretch. I like to make a few dirty jokes is all.

Game:
It's from something that is a functional object. It's shape is unique to the company.
