Geez!

Either you people are really good at finding weird junk for us to try and identify or I just really suck at this game. Maybe both.

I have no idea what that thing is. At first I thought it was a June bug or cicada husk but that was already guessed.

It almost looks like something from "Alien" or an H.R. Geiger painting. I'm stumped... again. And ashamed as well!

In light of the "mantid" aliens discussed on this site, these guys creep me out. We have quite a few around out place every year and I have to remind myself that they are beneficial.

So... I've been a member of ATS for around a year, lurking for longer, and this is the first time I've not been able to resist a thread.

I concede. This one did me in.

I think I have an idea as to what that little bowl is, but I think I'm going to observe for a few more rounds before vying for my own turn.
