I would think...he said he's hiding and the police have not found him..he reported that he does not want guns pointed in his face so he's hiding...

They aren't allowed firearms on base I don't think. Or ammo. Plus there are families. Shelter in place is SOP.

Yes and no.

I am grateful he is doing it, but at the same time, worried for his safety and everyone elses, and I understand that this kind of reporting as it is happening is dangerous for him and for everyone, but I am grateful for his bravery and to know what is going on .

The creepy thing? I live in KC area. This was all over the talk radio news a couple days ago, and they were wondering why they hadn't done something if they knew who this guy was. Then, just this morning, they were talking about again. Apparently, after it had hit the news, the FBI was falling all over themselves to walk it back.

Now we have this.

You'd almost think they knew and allowed it to happen huh?

Largest percentage of military personnel on a base aren't combat soldiers. Mostly support staff.

Your allowed to own weapons, but they have to be Registered at your Unit and with MPs then locked up in our UNIT ARMS ROOM.

Is it just me or does this sound a lot like the same clearing procedures they used in that Boston neighborhood? Basically treating people like they were guilty and forcing them at gunpoint out of their homes before searching their homes without warrant?

Reporting one shooter is dead.
