Missing Malaysia Flight (MH370) Becomes Criminal Investigation

We were talking to a pilot friend today, and he says that the reason why the Malaysians are being so secretive about the transcript of the communication between the control tower and the pilots is because "both pilots are supposed to confirm everything is normal, not just one pilot".

Since when? Only one pilot is required to talk to ATC, which is how it's always been. Do you know what kind of confusion there would be with all those pilots talking?

What?, it's the normal thing to do to investigate and then spread the reason for plane crashes it's why we have articles like

and It's not like this is the first time a MA plane has crashed
