It's not an artifact. It's something very interesting.

ooh, I assumed it was the plasma stuff (dielectric barrier discharge, supposedly the beta emitters were dumped a long time ago). active optical stealth? metamaterials?

or gravitational lensing?

Do you know what it is that Zaph can't tell us? Do ya, Do ya. You can trust me.....

You really don't want to ask him that. He'll tell you something about a left handed plasma spanner that shoots holograms into space or something.

A "friend of a friend" said he was right handed and being a typical guy, didn't read the manual. Well, he used to be right handed.

ARGH. Zaph's "channeling" info from someone out here, I think, and while I'm morally sure I know which group I don't know who. Yet.

It's still S, some of it's TS. That doesn't generally stop me from dropping hints but I'm friggin' involved, or was last year, so no, don't want no visits from MIBs, not for me. I will vouch for him actually knowing what he's talking about in this case. Dammit.

eta: I wasn't commenting much on the spanloader thread or the other one which someone noticed and u2u'd me. When I did, Z started dropping the root project names and other coy little hints.

I will say this - sort of like Able Providence, there are other projects that look like they ended on paper, and didn't. A lot of times "we built this nifty prototype and while it worked just fine and we loved it we have decided to shelve the entire series, tout fini" just means "and now we're swinging into fullbore production with its big brother on the non-line item budget, and you'll never get a sniff of it, peons".

Why thank you. You're too kind.

And I'm pretty sure you don't know which group either. Because it took me by surprise.

Thanks for the link. I had forgotten about that, was thinking it was something more recent (last couple months). Not on the boards much, so if it drifts off the myATS page or gets too long too quickly it becomes hard for me to remember or follow. I'm amazed I both read through the entire thread you linked to and have been active in this one for so long!

(On a side note, I really like this new layout. At the same time, kind of stinks. I would right click and open the replies in a new window. That way I could clump them all into one post.)

What sort of time frame would you say until we started seeing this aircraft more often? Are we looking at months, a few years ?
