I think people are overly paranoid.

But hey, we can live in fear or live with no fear, choice is one we have to make on a personal level.

The terrorists win if we are afraid....

No one said it was definitively crashed...hence why everyone is still looking for it.

I am referring to the image posted. The plane in the image posted is not on or below the water line, all cabin doors are closed and no slides or rafts either.

Yeah, I did the coding trickery. In the original url, I've found if replace the word "challenge" with API, it reverts to the application programming interface, and dumps an error containing the latitude and longitude of the center tile you're currently viewing. So for example, the image we're looking at:

www.tomnod.com...

change it to

www.tomnod.com...

and you'll see what I mean.

Oh and no, aside from my original response to the post I found, this was the first place I went to.

Would be better if we could play back a time sequence of image frames to see movement.

Shappy, the plane in the image is amongst or above trees! No water involved.

That's because in this image this plane is still flying! I'd also like to ask the OP how did you get the lon/lat of the picture, I've been wondering where the hell I'm looking on Tomnod since I've been searching sometime last week! LOL

Given the dates and the planes very low altitude (over trees could not be parked) I would be calling this in to the FAA and the NTSB immediately. This is IMHO one of the best finds I have seen or heard of regarding the missing aircraft.

The FAA and the NTSB have been asking for the public's help and this may very well be important. I took a look att he top view of a 777 on Google images and it looks right.....

Make the call.

Here are a few images from Google Images for comparison...couldn't find any top down views...but these do bear a fairly close resemblance...white fuselage and gray-ish wings.

Please make the call so that they can locate the plane with all its passengers- alive of course and then I can get on with my life without wondering what the hell has happened and feeling the need to check ATS every 5 mins. Thank you appreciate it

Can't see the engines - but otherwise it looks like a 777.

Hi WhoDat, I was too! I found that if you remove the word "challenge" in the URL of where you are searching, and replace it with "api", it'll dump a String (text line) that contains the Latitude (Lat) and Longitude (Lon) variables

Report it to multiple MSM news sources. Cover 'em all .... FOX, CNN, CBS ... etc
Heck .. tell TMZ . Even they had info up about the flight going missing.
The best way to get something done is to go around the gov't .... IMHO

ETA .. in fact, the more people who report this to the news sources, the better.
Multiple reports in to the news ... best thing to do.
Hop on it ATS!! Get email'n ....

The plane in the picture above the "ocean blue" tree line has a dark tail fin. MA has a white tailfin. A LOT of planes have white bodies and gray wings lol.

Yeah right, because since the flight disappeared NO OTHER PLANES HAVE BEEN FLYING...THEREFORE IF I SEE ONE IN A SATELLITE PIC THEN IT MUST BE FLIGHT 370.

People...REALLY?

Am I missing something or has everyone gone full retard?

NEWS SOURCES .... The big ones have 'contact us' links. I'd think that'd get more attention.
I know DRUDGE is serious about checking info sent in. (I've sent some there a few times )
FOX. CNN. Drudge. Hit 'em all. Everyone.
