No one said it was definitively crashed...hence why everyone is still looking for it.

I am referring to the image posted. The plane in the image posted is not on or below the water line, all cabin doors are closed and no slides or rafts either.

Shappy, the plane in the image is amongst or above trees! No water involved.

Given the dates and the planes very low altitude (over trees could not be parked) I would be calling this in to the FAA and the NTSB immediately. This is IMHO one of the best finds I have seen or heard of regarding the missing aircraft.
The FAA and the NTSB have been asking for the public's help and this may very well be important. I took a look att he top view of a 777 on Google images and it looks right.....
Make the call.

That's because in this image this plane is still flying! I'd also like to ask the OP how did you get the lon/lat of the picture, I've been wondering where the hell I'm looking on Tomnod since I've been searching sometime last week! LOL

Please make the call so that they can locate the plane with all its passengers- alive of course and then I can get on with my life without wondering what the hell has happened and feeling the need to check ATS every 5 mins. Thank you appreciate it
