Please sir, do not waste this opportunity to do what none of your predecessors have been able to do.

Tell us why that is a "chemtrail", what is in it and HOW IN THE HELL YOU KNOW!

I am not so sure, I think I can see a hint of barium in the third loop to the left. Can you see it??????

This is from Wigington's Facebook page, a place where people can post their personal experience:

So Mary, what is wrong with it? The lady on Facebook doesn't say, but since you posted it here I suppose you can tell?

Ma'am, with all due respect, seriously, all I can do is speculate, but it appears to be an unusual chemical trail in the sky, presumably left by an aircraft of some type. ttyl, I'm running late.....

Dear enigmatic mrthumpy: thank you for the link/study you provided.

Calculations of Aircraft Contrail Formation Critical Temperatures

Infighting over Appleman - who knew??!!

(Those studies came out right around the same time that outrageously persistent contrails were still being attributed to flak by various public figures. Because that is what the military was saying at the time. What a difference a few years make!)

(Don't those charts have to continue to be revised every few years as more and more pollution from spraying hits the upper troposphere/lower stratosphere?)

(The atmosphere, today, with its' attendant studies, imho, is kind of like the internet: fluid.)

(The only thing we can really count on is a trashed sky.)

Not really.

Do you mean chaff? Or do you really mean anti aircraft artillery, which is what flak is? Please point out when the military (or various public figures) said that persistent contrails are the result of flak (or chaff).

No.

For sure...that's what I meant. Thanks for the edit!

Now that we're clear on that. Please point out where the military said that persistent contrails are the result of chaff.

There was a homeowner in Nevada (someplace in Nevada - I forget where) who had planes flying in circles leaving trails over his house. He complained to his senator who complained on up the line who received the answer after lengthy delays that it was chaff.

And also point out how trails (con or chem) show up on Doppler radar like chaff does..

Because they don't, so how can they be the same?

It's the military who originally said they were the same.

Please show where the military has said that chaff causes persistent contrails.

Have you determined that if the story is true, the Nevada one, that the planes dropping chaff may have also been flying in conditions favourable to persistent contrail formation?

I ask that, because the military would never call chaff contrails, nor contrails chaff. They've been dealing with both as separate entities since around WW2.

Can't find the one from Nevada - probably just as well - so here is one from Idaho. The answers are the same as in the one that stuck in my mind, just different locations.

The Idaho Observer reported with considerable skepticism...

That's how this started - the infighting over Appleman and how exactly conducive conditions for contrails get determined today. I'm saying that charts are thrown together on the run to match existing conditions because the sky is so trashed up and that the fluid nature of the internet is facilitating this changing charts business.

Sorry, I don't see anything in there about chaff causing persistent contrails. Just a lot of silliness:

Among the substances found to be in the samples were several that should simply not be there:

* 6 bacteria, including anthrax and pneumonia
* 9 chemicals including acetylcholine chloride
* 26 heavy metals including arsenic, gold, lead,mercury, silver, uranium and zinc
* 4 molds and fungi
* 7 viruses
* 2 cancers
* 2 vaccines
* 2 sedatives
Oh my. "Chemtrails" contain cancers and vaccines. I didn't know pneumonia was a bacteria.

What infighting? Appleman's calculations are still in use.

It's all in the small print.

Calculations of Aircraft Contrail Formation Critical Temperatures

...Some recently published works have claimed improvements in the time-tested forecast technique of H. Appleman, but the results are called into question by errors in the basic physics....

Possible improvements is "infighting?" Improvements which are shown to have errors? That's what your quote says, you know?

That source:

While some recent works claim improvements to the traditional methods of contrail forecasting, the method of Appleman (1953), tailored to the specific engine type of the aircraft under consideration, remains the best for operational contrail forecasting. A straightforward derivation of contrail formation critical temperature has been presented using the isobaric mixing model put forth by Appleman.

Oh my. "Chemtrails" contain cancer and vaccines.

I read that on stopsprayingcalifornia.something and thought whoever wrote that must be nuts. Is it even possible for a "chemtrail" contained "2 cancers" to make any sense at all. That one has bothered me for a while now.

I ask in the interest of fairness in case I'm the one that's wrong and they're not lying.
