The link on the Enenews site that the OP used is no longer available on that site....

The edit cut at 10 seconds is just as obvious there is it is on all the other sites.
I still find it extemely suspicious that the video can not be found on a single Fox News site, which leads me to believe that it was editted before it was uploaded.
How long before this video will be linked to the rumors that Shep's weight loss was caused by radiation (totally not true according to Shep) from being in Tokyo shortly after the disaster?
I have been on the Japan forums for a long time now, and not having a credible source for information is detrimental,,,,, Enenews is not a credible source by any means, they are mostly Fukushima doom porn. They do post some useful information, but I only use it when I can verify the news from other sources. So far, my research shows me that the video originated from an email that was sent to enenews with no corresponding verification from a second source which makes it highly suspect in my opinion.

Don't get me wrong, I have no doubt that it is Shepard Smith. I just have the sneaky suspicion that videos/audio has been spliced from different videos to make it appear that he said something that he didn't actually say.
HAWAII (KGO) -- Some scientists say radiation from the Fukushima nuclear disaster in Japan has not reached California's coast yet, but it may start seeing traces by April.
"Researches say they expect to start detecting low levels of radiation along the pacific coast starting in April"
