I don't know who created the video but that's not a Fox news anchor and there is not even a Fox logo on the screen. Use a little discretion will ya.

I may have been tricked by the title of the video (not sure yet - about to investigate), but you have not proven it not to be a FOX News video, that being said I cannot prove it to be from FOX either so perhaps you are in need of using a little discretion as well until you can factually prove that it is NOT from FOX...I am open to the possibility of it not being from FOX just so you know.

I will try and determine the actual source of the video...

Yes we can. Look up Fox news anchors and find this guy. Find the Fox logo in the video or when this was actually broadcast. Go to Fox and find the vid in their archives and then post that official link so we can get this right from Fox. There are numerous ways to prove this is from Fox if it really is. Please get those official links to prove what you claim.. I've already done it. Its not there and this guy is not shown on the page with all their anchors and we don't have his name and what official news anchor ever signs on or off without identifying themselves?

I suspect the Japanese gummnt waited till Olympics etc to release this info. Down the road they can say 'Oh we told you that back in February.'

Everybody should know the guy in the video. I don't even watch FOX or any news for that matter, and I know that guy's voice.. I mean isn't he one of the main guys?? I wouldn't know but I remember his name from his face, and I'm bad with names so...

Upon further research he Shepard Smith was in Tokyo from when the tsunami hit. Here is a Video of shepard reporting about fukushima from tokyo march 17, 2011

He's probably personally pissed for being lied to about how bad it was since he was so close to it.

I was scared at first as I am not a FOX News viewer and was afraid that I may have posted a video which was not from FOX News due to some of the comments, thankfully a bit of research saved me the embarrassment.

What is his name then. I didn't hear it. I looked at the Fox anchor page and he's not there. There is a guy who looks somewhat like him but that man Smith I think his last name is is a bit older than the man in the vid.

You are correct in that most people paid much more attention to Miley's antics than the trouble in Japan and in well aware that you're not the meme's originator.

All of that being said, the cynic in me wants to know why Fox is even running anything about Fukushima at all,,
