May I ask why you asked these particular questions?

Why did you answer my questions with another question. It's very revealing when you try and skirt the issue.

Welcome and good luck!!

The invisible tattoos are visible even without a UV light. We had thought of that and thinking maybe she got one but this is not one of those and the thing is yesterday right before she found them we had some strange things going on her. First a glass globe that covers the ceiling light in her room fell on her. I thought the screw that holds it up had somehow come undone. It was still on the ceiling brace, yet when the globe came down it was in 1 whole piece! Then later I was sitting in my living room when I heard her say "Hey Nan", I said "Yes" but there was no reply. A few seconds went by and again I heard her say "Hey Nan", when I answered her there was no reply back as to what she wanted. I got up and thinking she was in the next room I again asked what she wanted and saw she was not in the next room so I thought maybe she was on the stairs calling me. Nope!!! She was not there either so I proceeded to go up to her room where she was sitting on her bed! I asked what she had wanted and she said "Nan, I did not call you, I've been up here getting dressed! Then after that my satellite receiver kept shutting off every few minutes and it got so bad I finally shut the entire system off. Then I was sitting here and heard my kitchen door to my basement open and close and got really frightened as I thought someone got in my house and was waiting for them to walk into the living room! Again...Nothing!
Anyway, I am not sure if you believe in all of these things but I know I have something going on here.
Someone came up with the symbol being from the Ancient Ogham Staves alphabet. I am trying to research it now. I will let you know what I come up with.

I wasn't skirting the questions, I was just wondering why.
One of the things that happens to her and has been going on for several years is her calfs will swell to twice their normal size and it is extremely painful. She also suffers from severe back pain and migraine headaches.
I just had someone who's been helping research this say it seems to be a symbol from the Ancient Ogham Staves alphabet.

BTW it is not a Monster logo. That logo has only three lines coming down off the top bar, not four.

The marks remind me of something I can't quite place

Me also, I feel so strongly that I have seen this even with the imperfections.

Monster didn't corrupt their logo. It's multiple stamps mixed and smeared via sweat or bathing. I've actually watched bar staff playing with the Monster ink stamps. Many "bar stamps" are hard as h*ll to scrub off. I'm not implying she was at a bar or rave. Just saying I immediately recognized the prints when I opened this post.

Yes it was suggested before you and is an interesting idea... but each leg has one clear separate impression and it has 4 legs to the pattern not three and not the ones on top of each other and fading.

How interesting...she just 'happened' to be playing with a lack light and randomly saw these marks...

With only 21. Posts under your belt, I believe you are full of it and this has been done purposefully.

With hearing her sincere testimony and seeing pictures, that would be pretty elaborate to make up just for kicks? A lot of empty calories.
Your response is pretty insulting and doesn't show much humanity within you..

You've been here long enough to know what he's saying isn't a stretch. There's been a ton of hoaxes by what appeared to be sincere posters. honestly,I think it's some kind of stamp. And they've got the OP totally fooled. Just my opinion.

You are not being 100% honest, since ALL chemicals that glow under backlights are easy to remove.

The post above yours says just the opposite. She said they are hard to remove.

Just looked it up, three places i found how to remove, they suggest everything from bleach to paint removers.
It does not sound easy. Plus there are kinds meant to stay on for tracking your belongings in case they are stolen, they are even harder to get off.

The most logical answer so far. I think Grandma knows it too,but doesn't want to believe the grandaughter is out doing things that she shouldn't be .....

In Ogham runes, this would mean "saille" which is Gaelic (I think...) for "willow".

In divination, it can represent quite a few concepts but mostly adaptability, balance, harmony, etc. It also can represent otherworld/underworld concepts if used with correspondences.

Just to see if your daughter has anything in common with the rest of the correspondences, I'll list a few here for Saille.
Color - fiery and bright ones
Gemstone - Ruby
Bird - Hawk
Tree - Willow
Letter - S
Dates - April 15 - May 12

ps edit - I thought it important to add here that the four of these on her calf wouldn't mean "ssss". There is actually another Ogham rune for that. If you were to look at these symbols phonetically, it would be four separated letters and not one word. This means they were probably not all made at the same time to mean one coherent thing but made a different times to say the same thing four times.

It's very common, and documented by professionals, to have poltergeist activity when teenagers are present. I personally think strong, out-of-balance hormones affect energy, and these massive fluctuations cause disturbances in our surroundings.

Historically, the greatest paranormal manifestations happen around teenagers. Whether it's some form of stray energy effecting the atmosphere, or 'spirits from the other side', or another dimension that coexists along side our own, that 'crosses over', I have no idea.
A lot about our existence is known, but I think even more is still unknown.

If the recent activity is caused by your grand daughters hormones trying to regulate into womanhood, I wouldn't be in panic mode. Books flying across the room, doors banging shut, things being moved seems to be a common theme, and I don't recall any documented evidence ever being found of it becoming harmful. Just something to consider.

I've read tons of horror stories, and proof always seems to be missing, or suspect to say the least.

IF you believe it is possible of a spirit nature, you can protect yourself, family and home by imagining a white light coming from the Creator surrounding you. This is what they call 'shielding', in case you're not familiar with it.

Those that believe in entities know that the feed off of FEAR. It gives them more energy to harass you. Supposedly, they do not have the power to harm you, unless you give them the power, by feeding and strengthening them with your fear.

Very likely, but the question is who stamped her IF she truly does not know it was done, this seems to have been redone over time many times.

The OP says she has tried to remove them and they do not even "fade in the slightest" (and even said surgery is needed to remove them)

That is impossible.

There is no chemical that glows under black light (green) that will not "fade" (including industrial tracking dyes for thief) with scrubbing.

None…as in…NOT one.

That was what I clearly posted. And why I find this post to be a clear hoax.

I know she is past that stage with hormones but to fill you in on some history of my home, first it is at least 100 yrs old. Now, before I bought this house I used to manage the property for the previous owners. While living here they encountered some relationship problems and separated. After moving from the house the reconciled. The next couple to move in also broke up after 6 months of living here. ok, that was 2 couples so it was just a coincidence. After that 3 more couples (not at the same time) moved into the house and each couple broke up while living here. After they moved out they got back together. 2 of these couples split up again but the rest stayed together! After the last couple moved the owners decided to sell and my husband and I bought it and moved in. We we married almost 14 years and we lived here for about 4 years when my marriage fell apart! My husband (who is now my ex) cheated on me! He has told me for a few years now that he can not explain why he did what he did and he is still in love with me! I know I have spiritual activity here and the only reason I am still here is I can not afford to move. I love my home and I sage and cleanse on a regular basis, especially after my one dog was attacked in front of me with 5 witnesses. Something slapped him so hard that we heard it and he yelped and ran to me!
You may think me crazy but this is the truth and I am willing to have anyone come to my home and see for themselves all that is happening here including the markings on my granddaughters legs!
I am not sure with them being Ogham Staves but I am looking at all possibilities and still need to do more research.

Well, that was my first reaction but after trying everything available and it still will not come off short of taking her to a plastic surgeon and having her skin surgically removed....it may sound impossible but is not coming off and that is not only a fact but the God's Honest Truth!!!

You plainly stated with scrubbing them, they do not "fade in the slightest".

This is physically impossible with all dyes, even industrial ones.

Your use of "indigo children" lingo is also something that tingles my hoax-sense, but I leave that alone for now.

Fact remains, NO chemical that glows under a black light, known to mankind as a whole, will refuse to "fade in the slightest" after a good scrub.

Now you are saying the only thing that will remove them is surgery???!!!

Yaaaaa…sorry, but you just put the last nail in the Hoax-coffin for me. Welcome to ATS and enjoy your first thread.

As others have asked why is there such an irrational fear here? That doesn't make sense. Now if it was a threatening message to her I would get it. As of right now it is a meaningless mark and a curiosity. I think you are trying to see something here that just isn't there. I'm not sure why you even brought up that you thought she was an Indigo unless you wanted to push our thinking into it was something supernatural or that is what you were meant to believe. While I can't rule that out completely I would say it is not supernatural.

I think your granddaughter is playing games and here is why:

1) You indicate some of them look like they are older and faded. This to me shows it is not paranormal and that she is coming into contact with something again and again at different times or writing it on herself. Which I'll get to later. If it was paranormal I kind of doubt it would fade.

2) It does look like the Ogham script and you even thought it to be runes which shows that more than likely both of you have some familiarity with this type of stuff.

3) This: www.wristbandsupply.com... If you scroll down to the bottom you will even read a disclaimer that says their invisible ink is hard to wash off the skin and is chlorine resistant.

My money is on the invisible ink so relax.

Don't invite any strangers into your home, they can be worse by far than anything we "call' supernatural!

She has nothing in common with any of them. Her gemstone is Garnet and her birthday is January 10th. If this is a message, I wish they would put it in english! This is really frustrating!
I do not usually go on line, last night was the first I had picked up my computer in weeks! But, the internet is the information highway so here I am.

I was being a bit sarcastic when I said surgery. I know there are always going to be sceptics and we can't all believe in everything we see or hear but this is really happening to her and it is you prerogative to believe or disbelieve.
I just know what is happening here and was searching for anyone who may know what this was. That is all, it is that simple.

The light was not what spooked us. I had my entire room done in blacklight when I was a teenager. It's the symbols. And we have an extremely close relationship. If this was something she did or knew about, she would have told me when she saw how upset I got after going over all of the possible explanations with her.
She is so afraid, she is sleeping with me now!
And I do understand that most teenages have an entirely seceret life outside of their home but this girl is always with me when she's not in school. According to my granddaughter, I actually have remained a cool person and I do not handle or react to things like most adults and that is one of the reasons I do have an excellent relationship with her.

It doesn't look like a symbol to me it looks more like a corner of a grate or basket that was exposed or contaminated with some chemical was pressed up against her leg, either she leaned against it or it sat upon her leg and moved a few time the first being the strongest imprint and as if was shifted it made additional marks until the contaminate was all gone.

You did indicate she had some back problems. Had she been to the hospital that week or before? Was she X-rayed or anytype of CAT or MIR scans done before she saw the marks?

There are types of chemicals found in hospitals that would appear under UV for certain tests. If so she could have been exposed there and in that case you could have a law suit. Keep the pictures and check on it as the days go by and see if it will disappear.
