This whole Ukrainian story reminds me of a 'Call of Duty' videogame storyline. Not sure I understand too clearly exactly what is going on, or who I should be siding with either.

That would be hard to do when you don't have any nuclear weapons.

Probably false, as no real name is given to what was supposedly said. However, it wouldn't be surprising to find out that not all of the nukes were handed over. Still, I think this is false.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine called for EU, U.S. and NATO to consider all possible means to protect the territorial integrity of Ukraine.

This was stated by Foreign Minister Andrei Deshchitsa at a briefing on Saturday evening in Kiev, "Interfax-Ukraine".

"Also, we transferred the appeal to NATO to consider the use of all opportunities to protect the territorial integrity of Ukraine's sovereignty to protect the Ukrainian people and the protection of nuclear facilities are located in Ukraine," - said Dieschitz.

He has stated before, that if he doesn't list a source, it's from Pravda, if I remember correctly. I'm pretty sure it's all in his first post.

Well not really, it was just an aside from what this thread created.

I didn't intend really to post much any of that, it just kinda happened.
My hands are kinda full currently. I don't want to make it a thread...

This thread has a lot of readers so that info is probably best placed here.

I would actually hope that post inspires people to look further into the mythological aspects of what the mainstream media presents to us on a daily basis. So yeah it's a current event drawing heavily on motifs from ancient events.

It applies to the thread directly because it begs many questions about 'authenticity of the story-line', or even about 'our psychology and how we can be subconsciously directed through iconography and terminology', etc.

How can anyone trust the media's version of events when they are being so obvious about mixing mythology with supposed "news" ?

Yup these are the same ones. But shown on RT, Russian news outlet(which says they were injured). Ukrainian TV says they dont know what happened to them.

I am sorry, but correction, not rumours. It was reported they left Kiev for Crimea over night.

OK, on TV(Ukrainian channel TSN)- The ex associate of Putin is on Ukrainian TV. Saying that Putin wants to change the current Ukrainian leadership and cause destabilization and internal conflict in Ukraine.

Great to see a developing (news)story and history being recorded.

I live in a country that have borders with Russia. I have friend, (an ex colleague) he was sent to the army a few months ago. And he said to me today that the military was put on a higher alert today. And one of the scout battalions were sent to the border. I dont know what that means (if anything at all) military vise.
