"We will do everything as quickly as possible, but while respecting all legal procedures," - said Aksenov.
He said that on Monday morning session is designed Verkhovna Rada of Crimea, which apply to the Russian President for inclusion the Crimea to Russia.

This was posted on YT a couple of hours ago, in this report we see volunteers taking an oath to serve Crimea, receive some gear etc, and some information on how the troops of Ukraine will be treated in the event the Crimeans' vote to join the Russian federation and some developments at another base as well..

I have to say....That isn't particularly helpful, IMO.

I imagine the United States sitting outside Kuwait in 1990...and how we reacted to being told, before watching it being done, that the oil wells would be blown and the rigs opened to the Sea. Didn't slow anyone down....not one iota. In fact. the propaganda machine dropped a gear and put it to the floor for a burst of high speed out of the whole deal.

This sort of thing is what Putin could actually face the world in the UN and say....'I did it to save Europe losing 1/3rd of their Gas supplies! Those nuts said they'd blow the main lines!'. I'm not a friend of Putin, but can't help noting this won't deter him as much as determine his path.

I am 70% sure Russia will enter eastern Ukraine. Not looking good at all. I will be directly affected by it if the gaslines are blown up. My heating is totally dependent on gas, no way to use electric heating, as the electric circuits in my house is very old and cannot handle more than 1500 watts.

Nothing from Ukrainian news, only Russian saying around 70% turn out with 93% voting in favour to join Russia.

Ukrainian media says that not true and its an illegitimate vote.

Does not matter, Crimea was long gone, there are celebrations there, with the PM saying hes going to ask Russia officially to allow them in tomorrow, bank acc. showing savings in roubles and things getting done to provide Russian passports.

Correction, Crimean Council claiming turn out 80%. Ukrainian media says impossible as tartars boycotted, they are 12% of the population.

Celebrations in Crimea which has 93% favouring Russian integration on exit voted.

In Crimea, the body of a Crimean Tatar man has been found with signs of torture.

Euromaidan activist and singer, Ruslana, wrote about this on her Facebook page with reference to the leader of the Crimean Tatars, Mustafa Dzhemilev, reports Censor.NET. “This happened in the Zemlyanichny Belogorsky area. The man went missing on either the 3rd or 4th of March. The last report of him was that he had gone to the military recruitment office and then disappeared”, said Ruslana.

According to her, his body was found on March 16 with clear signs of torture. “Handcuffs were found next to him, his head was bound up with duct tape. His body has been taken for examination”, says the statement. Censor.NET earlier reported that the Crimean Tatars would a peaceful mass rally against the “referendum”.
