There are lots of problems with the current ballot in Crimea from the dressing of the polling stations to the questions on the ballot papers. I found this picture circulating today...
What a surprise! A tick in the box to join Russia.
Indeed there are HUGE problems with the voting setup.
NO.1
80,000 troops deployed before the polling day!
(No Pressure eh)
NO.2
Ukraine Didn't initiate the Poll!
(Illegal)
N0.3
The Poll has been organized by a Foreign power (Russia)
(Illegal and an act of war)
Nothing else needs to be said here.. regardless of the outcome.edit on Sun, 16 Mar 2014 06:24:31 -0500246America/ChicagoSunday4 by rigel4 because: (no reason given)

If the Crimean's Didn't want the Russian's there, there would be no defections and a lot more blood spilled
Actions speak louder than words Regardless of the twisted stories and propaganda
Though the elections may seem sloppy, so was the bloody overthrow. Not saying what the Russian's are doing here is right, just slightly less wrong.edit on 16-3-2014 by all2human because: (no reason given)
Kadyrov’s message reads:
Dear friends! The referendum has taken place in Crimea! More than half of the electorate voted a few hours ago. It is universally acknowledged that it took place without any violations. Based on preliminary data, the people have answered “yes” to the question on joining Russia. I have just had a telephone conversation with the premier.
