The Tongan Volcano, Eruption or Detonation - You Tell Me

According to Nasa mentioned in this article the blast was equivalent to 10 megatones. The Hiroshima bomb was 15 Kilotons, so the volcano blast was huge....

I have the feeling that was a more natural phenomenon than an actual man-made explosion, but you never know.

I think it's just a puff of smoke just before the volcano blows. The clouds moving gives the puff of smoke the appearance of movement.
As for the huge leap "The object"? takes as it moves across the sky, it's probably just another cloud that appears then dissipates. If you look at the other clouds they come and go.

Looks like a nuke to me. Some are saying it was from a Russian submarine, a type of warning to the idiots in the Pentagon to be careful with Russia.

Any explosion creates a shock wave, any explosion of that size, natural or not, creates a simular shock/pressure wave. There were rumbling pre detonation, and continued after. If it was a nuke, by products would be easily detected.

what does anti-satelite weapon have to do with volcano eruption?

maybe if a space based satellite with rods from GOD,
(solid tungsten telephone pole sized penetrators, dropping to earth)
could have kickstarted a volcano,
i dont have a clue what those things would weigh,
but if its anything close to depleted uranium,
it would take our biggest rockets to deliver just one to space

besides elon musk and other billionaires are gonna kill us all off

and RE-PLANT the earth, back to pristine conditions that

No one said it was an anti-satellite weapon, however that was the most likely candidate. However, I do not believe it is yet to be disclosed as the General had hoped.

I do not think a rods-from-god type weapon could have started a volcanic eruption, much less any other weapon in any terrestrial government's employ. I was just throwing things out there in the spirit of the current forum, nothing else.

Having said that, DU is very close to W in density, but would not be a choice for a rods-from-god platform for a couple reasons. Firstly, DU is still ever so slightly radioactive and may need Presidential authorization to launch to orbit. I'm not certain of this, considering there are plenty of civil uses already in application, just spitballing. Secondly, and more importantly, is simply that DU is flammable. This is what makes it useful in weapons. When a round impacts armor, the heat imparted causes it to ignite. This leads to other systems within the target igniting, such as rounds cooking off or ruptured fuel tanks. Hitting the atmosphere at orbital velocity would certainly generate enough heat to cause the impactor to ignite as well.
