IT DIDNT' EVEN HAPPEN!!!!
I bet you any money that's just propaganda to help push things toward a conflict. How sad.
--
LOL are you serious? right, we are going to start a major conflict over small beans dispute....WHICH WASN'T EVEN A DISPUTE AT ALL....in international airspace. Right.
--
Zaphod, I love it when you come in and show what's up regarding anything involving the skies.
I swear, this story was sooo cool that it only took just a little bit before the usual, same folks come in here crying, "OmgZ!!111 teh US iz eVIl!! tehy should leeve the po Iranians alonz!11"
For reals, it gets old.
People, no dispute happened. There was an incident awhile ago involving su-25 and drones, measures were taken to prevent said incidents, it was over international airspace, nobody got hurt, nothing but good showman ship.
If anything, you made that Iranian pilots night!! does he have a story to tell the guys back home over a few beers, ENJOY THE 15 MINUTES OF FAME. lol

You mean like they shot back in November? So we should just let them shoot down anything they want since it's their back yard? We should just stop anti-piracy patrols, and leave to keep from upsetting them?

Ah right. So we should just let the pirates that the international community is there to stop hijack any ship they want to and not try to stop them. Screw the world, just let anyone do whatever they want to do as long as we stay away from everyone.

Read the article first and you'll see what's going on. No one was there to mess with any Iranian pilot. My "story" hasn't changed a bit. You just haven't bothered to even try to find out what was going on.
A Predator UAV was flying an anti-piracy mission in international airspace when two Iranian F-4s attempted to intercept it. The Predator was being escorted by two F-22s after Iran tried to shoot down a Predator in international airspace in November. The F-22 pilot warned off the F-4 pilots to keep them away from the Predator, which was in international airspace, to protect it.edit on 9/26/2013 by Zaphod58 because: (no reason given)
Ok, so some of you think the US did something wrong?

You mean like the Russian bombers that overflew Guam, and fly constantly over Europe?
It was an anti-piracy mission, which is why the Predator was in international airspace, over international waters. Flying in international airspace isn't going to do a damn thing as far as spying on Iran. A Predator's cameras can't see that far, and it's already flying beyond 12 miles off shore. Show me a camera that's going to be able to see into Iran from beyond the 12 mile limit, at low altitude, and get any useable information.
But you know better of course. You know exactly what the US would do, and what they are doing there. You're so much smarter than everyone else, so you know why the Predator was there.
Where the hell have I said it wasn't a spy plane? Show me once. You really need to learn better reading comprehension. But a UAV with cameras doesn't mean that it was there to overfly Iran. A Predator trying to fly anywhere near Iran's defenses would be dead in seconds.edit on 9/26/2013 by Zaphod58 because: (no reason given)

Good work on here. But really you are banging your head against the brick wall of those who insist they have a right to rattle sabers in anyones face while pretending thats not what they are doing. Typical drones. War in the name of peace. Our gun, jet, boat is bigger and faster than yours. Male penis envy...
USA! USA! USA!edit on 26-9-2013 by intrptr because: spelling

Oh, now you're trying to claim it was BOTH a spy plane and an anti-piracy mission. Of course, because you know you can't deny it was a spy plane.
The camera doesn't have to reach Iran if it is monitoring the ships going to and fro
which tells them who is doing business with Iran and we all know that is top priority for the US in this whole ordeal.
This whole thing has been to either control or choke off Iranian oil because it is not controlled by the western oil tycoons.
The US had already made it clear it plans to sanction anyone doing business with Iran in the months past...
anti-piracy=BS.
It is my opinion that it is most likely spying on Iran's trade so it can calculate global plans.
The US wants to know who is coming in and out of there. Piracy is just an excuse...
yes, let the powers over there deal with piracy and stop trying to feed me lies that are so obviously lies.
As for guam, you must have never looked at guam on a map because the US stole that island from it's original inhabitants as a base close to China.
TOO close to try to convince anyone it was for liberation. If not, why didn't we give it back to the indigenous inhabitants. The west had dirty garrison deals with japan and there is so much evidence of this, it isn't funny. Every place that Japan invaded, Europeans were also there invading. Research it. The Japanese Imperial Army was used as invading dogs for European elites in their shady alliance prior to the war and when that started going sour due to the realization of how ruthless they were being to Chinese and Koreans, then they shifted it to a fight between communist and nationalist, of which the leader of Chinese nationalist trained in japan and studied in the UK.
We had people in our government who were weary and resisted this but it was brought upon the US by elites in the UK to get us into the war and powers in the US let themselves be sucked in because of the fear of Asian trade taking over western trade (exactly what is happening) Don't even try to pretend for one second that an Asia power doesn't have every right to fly over Guam. Russia with it's alliance with china has more right be in Guam than the US does.
...
History clearly shows you that the western empire had been attacking the huge dynamic Chinese trade since the 1800s. it has been going on longer but you can get very detailed examples of it even in the late 1800s.
And today... it is the SAME CRAP. You want to argue with hundreds of years of history, go right ahead
but anyone with any sense knows that was a spy plane monitoring business coming in and out of Iran...
and NO, we would not tolerate the same kind of spying from Iran.
It's like letting someone rob your neighbor then after they've robbed your neighbor, you go over and say... this place has been robbed and it needs more security so you look at your neighbor and say "you have to go somewhere else and don't come back because this place has been robbed and I'm the security now"
If the US doesn't like Russia flying over Guam, maybe it should leave. ever thought about that?
...
We gave taiwan to nationalist instead of the government of china and we gave other territories to our so called enemy JAPAN...then the UK takes hong kong and the japanese were still in vietnam after the war in some weird proxy cooperation with french who were also trying to take it over and decades later it results in the most needless and dirty war... and you still want to back these territory invading, lying elite * up?[
well, you just right ahead and do that "Mr.We've got a right to go spy on Iran and make ourselves looks like instigating *"
I don't admire bullies
who don't know their own history.
