And you can prove that the US, who built them, is scared of them right? And that this isn't Iranian propaganda right?

Why would a Carrier have to operate IN the Persian Gulf, they will park outside of it, their reach is that long. We have Land air bases we can use if things were to ever heat up.

Well considering there effective range is 600 miles they dont even longer for smaller missions since you can use refueling aircraft.

Well today the US fleet if they ever go or want to go to war with Iran have to have their fleet be located 2,000 km plus or altleast 4,500 km away or more away from Iran in deep indian ocean or deep in the Mediterranean sea. This because that is the range of Iranian antiship missiles. The range of the Iranian shore based anti-ship missiles are upto 2,000km and the maximum range of one of the the air-lunched cruise missile Iran has mounted on some of its fighter and can fire is 3,000 km and the extended range of Iranian fighters have been upgraded to 3,000 km without inflight fueling or 1,500 km for going and coming back. So adding this 1,500 km to the range of 3,000 km of the cruise missile will give 4,500 km attack range.

SO US and allies fleet have to be beyond 4/500 km distance from Iran to be SAFE from Iranian attack.

This is why while the US fleet is in PG or nearby there will be no attack or war. Look for when the US fleet leave for their bases deep in the ocean and thats a sign of attacks, unless US is willing to sacrifice their fleet.

sear for it deep online and see why US fears and hated the tomcats. Why it had grounded them to choke and ground the Iranian ones and if your brain allows you to search deeply and if still the data is not removed you will see what pentagon thinks of the persian cats. You can get all this info if you search deeply.

For those interested in tomcats and persian cats here is a short documentary about it and talks about some of the stuff I said.

An American pilot stationed thousands of miles from home in the Middle East telling an Iranian pilot who lives in the Middle East to go home? How arrogant?

Yes, isnt it.

We hopefully won't see which strategy would work. The U.S. Strategy will be to Blind and Deafen Iranian military Bases and C&C, take out Runways, Aircraft and Missile Batteries. It's a battle that the Iranians can't maintain for very long.

It is common knowledge that America is sending drones over Iran something we are not allowed to do. What would America do if Iran started flying drones over America?

Shoot it down or escort it away from US airspace....

Of course, because Iranian missiles can avoid any defenses, and sink any ship they go up against.

You made the claim it's up to you to back it up, not for me to spend hours searching for something that may or may not exist.

Typical of the propagandist, wants us to believe all his claims and do all his work for him.

I guarantee I know more about planes and military operations than the average person, and the only time I've ever heard anything like this is from you.

Here is my take and based on the massive and years of research on aviation and ME and Iran military about the incident of raptor and phantom reported here.

I would bet and wager that The Iranian AD radars and sensors were tracking the raptors and the drone ( I say this based on past incident and reports and my first hand knowledge of the sophisticated AD defenses of Iran). This is when interceptors are sent when the enemy is close to Iranian air-space to watch or to track and wait for orders from ground stations. They will track the objects of interests while is in international waters and at the same time the Sky-Guard AD systems lock SAM and AD weapons and wait to see what the foe is doing.

If that raptor posed a threat or had ventured into Iranian air-space then all hell would have been loose and it would have been targeted and attacked.

Iranian defense doctrine about stealth fighters like f-22 is that you send one interceptor to watch and while the enemy is per-occupied with it, there would have been other more deadlier interceptors waiting afar and the AD system to see what the enemy does.

I can bet you the Iranian pilot was aware of the raptor in the vicinity and left when it was ordered by ground station to perhaps to intimate the raptor to follow and track to inside Iranian air-space and then they would try to get their hand on a raptor just like the RQ-170.

The raptor pilot did not fall for the trap perhaps because it was a seasoned pilot.
