Flight route Map
Heathrow Airport
If i am reading that right then that plane should be nowhere near where it is at right now.....

So I just watched some of the flight playbacks to watch previous routes from there to london and it does appear to be on its normal coarse/ flight path.

It looks like the aircraft deviated a bit from the flight path and was likely ahead of schedule and needed to kill a little time in the air.

Ah that's cool you found that. I'm on my ipad and I can't see it because of flash
.
Sounds like you guys are saying its on the normal route though.

As for the turn arounds, I still think they could be glitches but who knows. Looks like pretty sharp turns to me.

I wonder how off course they are. Looks like they are heading pretty far north but I'm not familiar with the usual flight path.

Its just the routes from Heathrow to Edmonton, they steer away from that whole area. Actually ive noticed that a lot of air traffic avoids that route..

Awesome, thanks!

I feel silly doing the work to find that now.

Button on the left of the screen that is tracking the plane shows the course it should be taking. The plane is right where it should be. lol.

You have to press full screen version. Then it's on the left over the flight data.

Did it drop altitude or was the feed cut?

yes it's out for everyone it seems. Maybe it's being jammed or something.

Or maybe it's just glitched I don't know.

THey are guessing where the plane is on that feed. It looks to have been missing for at least 150 miles.

Wouldn't flying higher and faster then expected affect the amount of fuel they had available to complete the trip?
