Hello Nick,

I'd like to ask if you can take another look at the Berwyn Mountains UFO. A case I once dismissed as many others including yourself did as nothing but a meteor and earth tremor.

Intriguing points in order of increasing speculation are.

What were the lights seen on the slopes of Cader Berwyn? They have never really been explained as the sceptical story doesn't fit.

Phantom Helicopter sightings (more like a UFO flap) through late 1973 into early 1974 just across the border in Cheshire/Derbyshire abruptly stopped after the Berwyn case and Special Branch asked for military assistance.

On the same night there was allegedly a military Operation called Photoflash in the Irish Sea to flush UFOs out of the water. This has never really been proven. But a document from the MCA (Marine Coastguard Authority) was published in the local papers confirming the operation took place.

A UFO crash retrieval operation is alleged to have been ordered with "bodies" rushed to Porton Down.

The crash retrieval element still seems highly speculative but I would like to know if you now have a different view on Berwyn and whether there could be a link with the Phantom Chopper sightings?

Hi Nick, it's so good of you to appear here on ATS. I'm ufoorbhunter and as my name implies specialise in orbs or what you in the MOD might have called the foo fighters.

During the Second World War the RAF frequently reported seeing ufo orbs over the German skies.

My question (related to your time with the MOD desk) is did the RAF pilots stationed in Germany still submit reports of ufo orbs over the German sky?

Would i be correct in assuming that there is more truth than fiction to the main storyline in Operation Thunder Child? Do you deeply believe for whatever reason that the bodies of EBE's or even EBE's themselves had been taken to Porton Down?

I ask this because of the following reason.

In Operation Lightning Strike, the limited battles in the previous book give way to all-out war, with the fate of Earth hanging in the balance. As with Operation Thunder Child, the book needed official clearance. So far as Nick Pope is aware, this is unique in the history of science fiction.

I can only speak from a position of authority in relation to the UK government, but from my direct involvement in this, I certainly wasn't aware of any alien involvement, or of any evidence to suggest that "the powers that be" were secretly controlling the government. And while the MoD consistently downplayed the true extent of its involvement and interest in the UFO phenomenon, I saw no evidence of outright lies.

There must have been communication between the MOD and the American Department of Defense and other European Defense departments concerning the UFO phenomenon. Could you elaborate? And was their ever a common determination as to the origin of the phenom.

How in depth is "future monitoring" or a "majority report", is it only on a global scale or can it be focused on individuals? Have future forces unknown been collaborating against or for the future of individuals or nations in attempts to shape potential outcomes?

You've been on the receiving end of hundreds of UFO reports from the public -- what kinds of things are left out by these witnesses that would have made your assessments easier and more reliable? In other words, what would you recommend to readers here to make sure to include when/if they have a UFO experience and want to share it fully with analysts?

I have often wondered about ufo's caught on camera! If we had the technology to fly around at those speeds! straight up and down! zig zag! in and out of space! then why are we still using rockets to launch us into space?

The Cosford incident .
I live between RAF Cosford and RAF Shawbury have been interested in this sighting for years , what is it that makes you believe that it wasn't just a combination of the reentry of a Russian rocket and a police helicopter following a car that were responsible for the sightings , do you think Wayne Elliott was coerced into the helicopter explanation ?

I would love to believe it was more than the prosaic explanation that's been put forward but have become skeptical over the years

In my mind there would be two main reasons to uphold the secrecy of ufo's The first is that governments of the world have made contact and know the agenda our visitors have. The other would be that just like us they really don't know who they are or where they come from.

What are your thoughts on the subject?
