Everyone should take it upon themselves to homeschool their children, at least some of the time. My son just graduated HS and has been homeschooled a little over half of his schooling. He has been able to call BS when the schools did try to pull this crap and has managed to draw many of his public school classmates along in his resistance.

Over the years he has brought his friends to me for a little lesson on how America was designed to work and how and why the Constitution is crucial to understand. I have yet to find that any of his friends did not understand and appreciate the knowledge. They often make comments asking why they were never told about this stuff in school. They are all becoming conspiracy realists as a result of our discussions. Many of them do not like guns, wish there were no guns, but totally believe in the right to have and use guns. We can't let the government be the only ones planting seeds in these young minds.

BTW, if you have never seen any of the interviews with Charlotte Iserbyt I highly suggest you do so. She served as a Senior Policy Advisor under Ronald Reagan, she is a whistleblower that reveals the real purpose behind the Department of Education.

OK, first of all what kind of crayons are these? They must be magical back pack writing ones

Second, why would a 4th grader write on a backpack WITH crayon? Crayons aren't usually even used in 4th grade, they normally are told to buy colored pencis. I know this because my mother teaches 4th grade.

Third, this phrase is obviously not the words of a 4th grader. The syntax, verbiage, and composition are above the writing skills of a child in the 4th grade.

Why would a kid waste time copying verbatim something a teacher may have said in crayon on a backpack? 4th graders are more concerned about playground politics. How could it even be read hours later at home unless it was written in marker?

This story REEKS to high heaven of falsehoods and propaganda. Just like how the liberal media makes conservatives out to be scary fascists, the conservative media demonizes the liberal democrats.

Lying in the media is OK, ask Fox News.

I was thinking and feeling the same way.

It stinks, then when I followed the link back to the original story everything made sense.

You know that is a really, really good idea.

Create a site that parents can go on, and tune into the classroom and monitor their children and the curriculum being taught just by clicking on the schools website and going to the live feeds for the class rooms.

Imagine that camera up there, and children knowing that there parents could be watching - at any time.

Peace,
Cirque

Maybe if people were more involved on the local level and actually knew...the class....the teachers......the school board.....and what was being taught (instead of just letting the schools be babysitters), INSTEAD of waiting for "kid to come home with blah blah blah on his backpack" and go pitchfork hunting.

Just Sayin.

What if the assignment was to write a rebuttal of the statement? Or perhaps to poll the members of the family and start a discussion? I'll reserve judgement until I have both sides of the story.

there was no assignment given, just some students were hand picked to copy down the sentence.

the family members were never shown, which is why the dad had to find it in his son's backpack, and i doubt children writing in crayon are at a level that they can articulate a rebuttal to political concepts they don't even understand.

it is interesting that the principle, teacher, and another called the dad and told him that the child wrote it of his own free will, but the children in the classroom are saying that students were hand picked to write the sentence down. the latter is most likely, notice the two crossed off words? an "and" crossed out for "or" signals to me that the teacher looked at it, and told him to change those words.

what do the children gain by lying? they don't even understand what they were told to write down, but what does the school gain? they get to keep their jobs.

The teachers in the stories above haven't been fired, but another one was for "illicit Bible conveyance," for giving an inquisitive student a Bible.

Now this I have an issue with, if a student asked a teacher that he knew was Christan for a FREE bible and the teacher gave it too him, he should be protected by the Constitution and supreme court rulings from being fired.

I have issue with the OP point as well, it's too political for a teacher to advocate what he told them to write down. And it encourages children to diminish the value of the American Constitution which isn't perfect but does a pretty good job of trying to protect it's citizens rights and freedoms.

The way that school is carrying on business just stinks.

You can't teach an old dog new tricks, likewise they know the death of the constitution lay not in defeating the philosophically sound generations that grew up with it.. But rather training a brand new generation in a enviroment that dismisses and even is anti-constitutional.

government of the people, by the government, for the government.

Today's educational system appears to be cattle excrement. No offense to cattle excrement. At least cattle excrement has a good use. The problem with government education, is that as an institution, it is vulnerable to infiltration and exploitation. We need to get a law passed that does away with truancy laws entirely. In a land of the free, why throw children or their parents in jail for not swallowing excrement when there is Filet Mignon out in the real world?

“I am willing to give up some of my constitutional rights in order to be safer or more secure.”

Here let me fix that......

" I am willing to spill my own blood or the blood of others, be shunned as well as severely punished and made to suffer unfathomable hardships so as to preserve all my constitutional rights in order to be safer or more secure.”

I will waive the fee that may accompany correcting the "state of dumbass" this teacher is currently in. Penalties will be unavoidable however if the desired state of "suck" is in fact imposed on myself or my own.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I want to expand on something and address it to a specific audience....
To all the proponents of fear porn /those with "safety concerns" manipulating people so as to get YET even MORE control over free men (political class, financial elite and co):
Call us "terrorists" again or try to scare, threaten or intimidate us some more.....see where that gets you....
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We do not fear, oh little princes. Settle down and live your lives like normal people. Stop trying to impose this retarded nonsense. Stop picking a fight. How about you just get over yourselves and enjoy the time you have.

Impatient children on line for ice cream. Foaming at the mouth while they bite and kick wildly at each other instead of just letting things progress as they should. That is what you come off as with all this meddling. Your goals and your ambitions..... That is what this whole thought seems like to me. Just Childish ignorance devoid of innocence.

"safer?"....stop reading what ever fairy tales you are spazzing out on. We aren't buying it anymore and the only reason it flew to begin with was because of 9/11....Unless that can happen every 10 years, cut the crap or you will regret it. Your dream future is retarded and will fail. How about you just enjoy the lives you have been given (which I assume are not that shabby compared to most) and you just STFU.

I am sick of being civil and patient with underhanded sneak thieves trying to "nudge" their impending disaster upon the rest of humanity for the thrill of giving their delusions a go in the real world. Some things are sacred to us and guess what? We would rather die first. We mean it. Kill us first and do what ever you want with yourselves or mind your own business because we aren't playing anymore. JUST STOP.

Stop with the crying mothers on TV proposing gun reforms and other nonsense when the VAST majority of our people are against it as well as all these other nonsensical and traitorous proposals you come up with from A to Z. Cut the hemorrhaging of public money for the illusion of security that we all are none too appreciative of, and just cut the crap in general with imposing on everyone lives. Stop preying on our emotions to sway us into polarized partisan BS or into over sensitive mental fluff whenever you feel cornered while engaging in social programing we are increasingly more enraged by. Honestly, just go die if you cant bear to live life without fiddling with everyone elses.

Responsible men....pffft. You are risking everything we have built for a "possible" gain you don't even have yet.
This is school yard kid stuff. Grow up and share the world you scared little egotistical children.

bye bye, go die.

I read this on one other website and am shocked in the fact that any teaxher would participate students into writing this. Even if it were mandatory, I would refuse this to my classroom. This is sickening and should be further investigated by top conspiracists in positions of great influence.

Wow, I cannot believe this. And these people are supposed to be educated? Then apparently they are not learning anything about US history and the doctrines this country was founded on. This is explicitly the opposite of what the Founding Fathers were trying to convey. Even the famous Franklin quote says the exact opposite of this. Anyone who respects the Constitution should know this, as it is fundamental to American democracy.

I am so sick of how many people there are attempting to make others feel bad, or ostracize others, for their wanting to abide by and follow the rule of the law, which is the law of the land. The most highest law, the very document that started our freedom. The 2nd amendment violations are a big slap in the face to those who respect the rule of law as well, and anyone who wishes to do away with it is anti-American, plain and simple. There is no arguing that, as the Constitution is not up for debate at the moment.

so much wrong with this post. if you had bothered to read correctly, or even go to the link, you'd find that the child wrote on a piece of paper that the dad found IN his son's backpack, not written on the backpack itself.

secondly, see the above, because he didn't write on his backpack.

third, yes, everyone realizes that. fits perfectly with the boy's story that the teacher hand picked students to write it down. did you know this boy's father wasn't the only one to complain?

they probably wouldn't bother writing it down, unless singled out and specifically instructed to do so.

obviously it's propaganda. to further validate the fact that the incident happened, the principle, teacher, and another called the father and told him that the child came up with it and wrote it down on his own.

Get them while there young, this is pure programming at its worst. I myself was home schooled in Australia and I am very thankful for it as it, allowed me to be a thinker and not a mindless drone like most of the population.

I've been following this thread and to be honest, I was so angered I thought best not to reply to quickly.

Shame on Them.....Could The system have Any Less Respect for the people who have given their lives for these constitutional rights we so often take for granted??

But now I will say should my child bring home anything similar to this.....I Will make a Huge stink and under No Circumstances will this pass by without being addressed and brought to the attention of anyone willing to listen..That is A Fact.

The Children are the responsibility of the parents and the Teachers are employees of the tax payer.

Which is EXACTLY what you should do.

We teachers answer to the community and parents. If you don't understand or agree with the assignment. Discuss it with the teacher. If his/her answer doesn't satisfy you, take it to the administration.

It is call the reconstruction of America this is been going on for decades now the groups behind this have enough ammunition, money and power to push the mentality or changing the face of America into the younger generations when the young minds can be manipulated into accepting this great change.

This movement started in the 70s and 80s so they now have spread all over the nation.

Beware people the reconstructionist are everywhere within our churches, schools, politics and sadly making laws in Washington.

But that is ok, many people can no grasp the reality of what our nation is turning into because US is the land of Freedom and opportunity let no forget the American dream.

Keep dreaming because the reconstructionist are going to take all that away and we are letting them do it.
