I have a telescope, but today, of all days KC has been under a deep fog and constant raining...grr! I was all excited to watch this thing!

What's even WORSE is that this site has f*** my brain up so much that when I was driving in the fog all day I actually thought, and said "I bet they haarped this fog so that we couldn't see the astroid" ....then I snapped out of whatever this newfound delusion is that I have been feeling....

Oh my god that is so damn funny yet so true! I cannot stop laughing. I even just read your post out loud to my husband (who I have nearly driven insane because of how badly ATS has f***ed my brain up!) because he was giving me that "Okay, I give, what are you laughing at even though I know I'm going to regret asking you about it" look.

*Certainly a large minority of people, under the guise of "inclusion" and "political correctness" ignore the very real danger from a very powerful and dangerous subset of the world's Muslims who seem to think it is perfectly all right to impose their shari'a law on the rest of us and will gladly murder anyone who takes issue with that; and, finally

*The various governments in my country are systematically removing our inherent rights, including to right to dispose of our preperty as we see fit, the freedom to peacefully assemble and petition for change, to arm ourselves, and to enjoy the privacy of our own homes and places of business.

And what do we do to bring these very real dangers to the public? We talk seriously about imaginary dangers for which we have no scientific or technological understanding whatsoever, including asteroids which will not crash, a non-existent end of the world in 12/21/2012, imaginary Little Purple Spaceship Guys from Arcturus, "proof" that We Never Went to the Moon ...

... and "chem-trails". Mustn't forget the "chem-trails".

Honestly, most of the people who post those things are doing so because they are concerned or curious not because they just want to scare the crap out of everyone. Sure those people exist but I don't believe that's the majority.

It's not enough that they know they were wrong. We have to make sure they never forget that they were wrong! I myself have never once been wrong about anything. I'm glad I'm not the only one.

The amount of nonsense here is staggering, makes one wonder what has happened to ATS...

How is this any different from some person in a bar telling me this is going to happen , that is going to happen, this happened because of that etc, etc, etc.

Sure on the net a person can gather their materials, cite sources in print...ewwwwww (who think exactly as they do), put up charts. So the person in the barpub etc, didn't do that so we don't expect an apology?
