Theater of the absurd.

The EPA under the obama administration actually believes there are enough asthmatics using inhalers out there to hurts the earth's atmosphere?????

For all those looking for a an example of OVER-REGULATION, here it is

source

Remember how Obama recently waived new ozone regulations at the EPA because they were too costly? Well, it seems that the Obama administration is would rather make people with Asthma cough up money than let them make a surely inconsequential contribution to depleting the ozone layer:

Asthma patients who rely on over-the-counter inhalers will need to switch to prescription-only alternatives as part of the federal government's latest attempt to protect the Earth's atmosphere.

But the switch to a greener inhaler will cost consumers more. Epinephrine inhalers are available via online retailers for around $20, whereas the alternatives, which contain the drug albuterol, range from $30 to $60.

Here's your president fight, fight, fight, fighting for the middle class (from his recent bridge speech where he couldn't remember who he was supposed to say he's fighting for).

BS obama is.

Star and flag. This is just sickening... So pretty much obama is giving people who have asthma the middle finger. I really do hope the end of the world comes soon...

Time to stock up on Epi inhalers. The investment might be better than gold from 10 years ago. Too bad you have to show a DL and can only buy one a day.

This is the source article your blog is based off of...

I was unaware that Obama was in office back 2008, inauguration was in 2009.

The FDA finalized plans to phase out the products in 2008 and currently only Armstrong Pharmaceutical's Primatene mist is available in the U.S. Other manufacturers have switched to an environmentally-friendly propellant called hydrofluoroalkane. Both types of inhalers offer quick-relief to symptoms like shortness of breath and chest tightness, but the environmentally-friendly inhalers are only available via prescription.

So, the El-ites "Global Warming" agenda is not only using carbon taxes but is now going after Asthma Sufferers?! Un...believable....

Another money making scheme. Get rid of OTC asthma inhalers and let us pay more for prescription ones. They can never get rid of asthma inhalers, never. Make sufferers pay more, yes, but they can never ban them all.

This is sick, sticking their hands deeper into sufferers' pockets, doing absolutely NOTHING for the environment might I add.

Trying, but absolutely could not find any Palin position statements on this for you ...

Or do you have some evidence that this too is somehow Bush's fault?

Or maybe the EPA under obama could figure out how to make an exception for their fellow citizens that are suffering from asthma.

Maybe you missed this post

Or maybe Obama could have killed the EPA ruling that Bush allowed.

Bush is still president????

Or maybe Bush is still president of only the bad things that obama doesn't know how to deal with.

That would explain it ...

There was a time not too long ago when he referred to these things as "inhalators".
Or was that "breathalyzer"?

I understand you folks foam at the mouth when ever you think there is the slightest chance to blame the current administration for something, most days I do as well. But PLEASE read the article where it says the "plans were finalized in 2008"! 2008

The plan is reaching it's conclusion this year is all.

Seems, they must figure that if they eliminate the hay, they will eliminate the asthma too...

They want everyone to switch to a greener inhaler. Sounds like more enivornmentalism. Inhaler police? Maybe Obama has stock in green inhalers.

I notice that several things you have posted can be sourced to Bush, but you use them to
advance you anti Obama sentiment. Do you care about the truth of your arguments? It
seems rather indignant to use such a method.

It sounds like several business's have lobbied and exerted their pressure just right.
You bring up Obama, but this plan is before his time, if the regulators sent out letters
of intent to manufacturers, the government could be sued pretty bad by companies
who spent money, retrofitting by striving for compliance. But I guess that idea is too
complicated to examine here?

Well, it's the EPA
And Obama did finalize it with some kind of greener inhaler. Hmm, looks like the EPA and the FDA involved. The FDA apparently had to approve the alternative.
