What the...What was That? UFO spotted in LIVE NBC News SkyCam at Fort Worth, TX

A UFO was recorded in the sky above Fort Worth, Texas on Monday morning
by the NBC DFW tower cam.

The NBC DFW video shows a white light rapidly entering the frame from the top right of the screen,
then upon closer examination it makes a quick 45-degree turn and speeds out of frame.

A light dropped out of the sky — upper-right of the video — and seemingly disappeared. A slow-motion look, though, appears to show a fainter view of the light veering off at about a 45-degree angle to the image right.

UFO investigators have been contacted to review the video.

If this is genuine, it's definitely a UFO.

It came pretty damn close

It just looks like a bug to me. From the size of the object and the view if it were considered an actual aircraft that object is moving across like hundreds of miles in a half second. I doubt it.

Very nice find! You can see the whole trail when slowed down, towards the end. That definatly could not be a meteor or jet. Much too fast and it changes course visibly when slowed to a near halt.

My first thoughts were ...streaking space junk?
However, they say they can see it fly away at a 45 degree angle.

interesting, however to debunk you, if you study the image more closely you will notice that the light fades slightly in the horizon, as if it were behind trees or something and then shoots back up. It followed a straight horizontal line, and just happened to be right on the horizon where lands meets sky.

5:40 in the morning??

A light similar to that headed west with what I saw at 4:30AM this morning that zipped just as fast.

Could be that or the Minuteman Missile.

Now I know, I'm not going crazy. I know what I saw. That sucker was here and gone.

Ah Channel 5.. I usually watch FOX 4. I didn't know NBC 5 had UFO's lol.

I haven't seen an argument against this being a bug yet.. that seems like the obvious explanation. I don't think an investigation should go any further until that possibility is debunked.

Since they contacted UFO investigators, Id say someone has ruled out the bug thing.

nice, I missed that.

It looks like a small meteor that just skimmed the very edge of the atmosphere for a split second. Probably did not enter enough to illuminate the atmosphere enough.

Im not so sure about a bug, a bat maybe but I don't think that either. One question I have for the bug theory: The video initially is time lapsed slightly you can tell by how fast the cars are moving...so can a bug even be filmed in this manner? I don't know if I'm articulating what I'm trying to say correctly. The second slow down seems to accurately show traffic movement and the "bug" is still moving extremely fast. Hopefully some video expert can decipher what I'm trying to say.

Edit: Also wouldn't bugs be a common sight on this cam or common enough that it wouldn't have people at the station making inquiries to ufologists over?
