No this debate hasn't been about smoking weed, it's about the medical properties of a plant that has cured a 2 year old of terminal brain cancer. Why do you insist on derailing the thread, with your Daily Mail factoids and religious gobledegoop

Thanks for posting! Though, I wouldn't have used "Pot" and mostly why I did not post this local news to me days before because of it's controversial nature. I hope the info. spreads! The positive side needs to be known about. WA State and other states with leagal MM maybe facing harsh implications.

See all those references at the bottom of the page? Yes it's so well accepted that even wikipedia does not contest it.

Yes people can and do smoke regardless, prohibition only fuels underground criminal organizations like booze did in the 30's with the gangster era.

That's a different issue although an important one, this thread hopefully can stay with the medical properties, there are many other compounds besides THC as many as 60 or more that have medical use.
Please stay on track.
