I post this to let you all know that over the last week we've had a flood of stories in our newspapers up in Canada about creating a "security" perimeter around North America to deal with terrorism and trade. This will end Canada's sovereignty. They also talk about a new currency, and are going to sign the agreement early next year. Ironically this will take place at the beginning of the last cycle of the Mayan Calender. Not sure if that has anything to do with it, I just find it coincidental. So to me this looks like the NAU is right on schedule, and so is the Amero. So that means maybe a economic crash coming after xmas? Ditching the canadian/american dollar and peso for an Amero?
And another question I have is, what happens to all of America's debt? Do all three countries take that on now? I haven't heard ANYONE talking about it at all. They are going to sign this agreement whether we like it or not, and there isn't a dam thing anyone can do anything about it.

Here's an exerpt:

The opposition was reacting to reports this week that the government is negotiating an agreement with the U.S. that would allow “pre-cleared” rail and truck shipments to pass more quickly across the border. The deal, which could be signed as early as January, would see the two countries harmonize regulations in certain areas, such as consumer-product safety, the National Post reported. It’s also believed the deal would involve closer co-operation on law enforcement and the screening of individuals through tools such as biometrics.

The U.S. signed a similar deal this spring with Mexico, the other signatory to the North American Free-Trade Agreement.

What do we do? We pack our stuff and move to Australia. That's what we do. This country blows anyways.

Why does every Canadian choose Australia as the place to run to?
Funny, my other half ran into an Australian at Tim Hortons today.
The guy chose Canada to run off to.

I don't know what is going on, but the EU is not in such great shape right now.
They had spoke of a South American Union, a Afican Union, one down in the Sothern Hemisphere with Australia, I don't know where else.
It seems these Unions are not so much in Vogue right now, and they still have to do the One World Order thing yet.
I think they need to lump these countries together so then when it fails, they can declare, We Need One World Order, Me Boss you slave, lick my boots slave.

People are so stupid they deserve what they get, Morons, how long does it take to relize that humans by nature are bad, and they are your leaders Ha Ha Ha.

Let everyone you talk to, know about this travesty. Adopting an American attitude is not what we want to do. Americans like Canadians as "their cousins up North" or whatever the colloquial name was. We were there when they really needed help, but both countries were as distinct as the French Canadians are to the Anglophones. People on both sides should not let this happen! It will be a sad time when and if it does.

If Canada loses sovereignty, that mean that if martial law is declared over there, it will over here. That means if they send everyone to war like in WW2 - we'll have to go fight.

I was always feeling safer by being north of the border. But if there is no border anymore....

Keep your gold - get ride of your paper work - Go live in the woods.

They will make it hard not to get the chip or anything they want to imply.....

grrrrrr.

This has been the case since at least the baby Bush's presidency. The NAU, the amero, the transition started years ago, but as you already know, they dont tell us anything

I highly doubt it will happen.
If it does I smell revolution.
Though if it happens, what says we still wont be 3 distinct countries who share.

Funny - You are from the US right. Cos it seems that people from Canada don't want this. But people from the US might see a good side of it.

15 years ago - being from Canada, maybe I would have been excited, but now...it's too late..

Not 2011.

Sometime after 2015 we may, just may have a American Unit of Account shared by the Federal Reserve and the central bank of Canada. It won't happen until the US Dollar is replaced as the global reserve currency and its value drops.

I honestly think we have a better chance of an Atlantic Unit of Account or even a World Unit of Account, again some time after 2015.

Even an Atlantic Union may not be all that farfetched by 2030.

Regardless the central banks will be using Units of Account and then transition into (American, Atlantic, World) Currency Units before any actual currency changes with the public. The public will still be using US and Canadian dollars, until the introduction of an American Dollar or whatever currency the central banks decide upon.

when Harper was busted lying about visiting the bilderbergers.
that said it all
and the suburban canadian turned on his TV cracked a beer
and fell asleep on the couch.

And of course sleepie the dwarf
completely missed the police being busted dressed up as protestors
at Montibello

oh well
twas fun while it lasted.

and now relegated as a few people talking about a big issue. As I search the Canadian papers on this story, only the National Post so far is the only one I see picking it up. When its all said and done then there will be a quick story in the paper followed by a couple of concerned citizens stating they didn't know a thing about it.Danbones said it best "twas good while it lasted..."
