HAHAHA!

i can't believe the number of posts discussing the happened/did not happen issue when the OP is about something different.

Something against the powers. For a change.
Let them feel the fire for once after centuries of oppression.

This article made me feel like the start of a really good climax of a movie where the larger & stronger bad guys get taken down by the others

Gives me a good feeling, for now.
let's see which way this goes

A lot of loose talk about charges filed against Mr. Assange. An Associated Press article by Cassandra Vinograd and Raphael G. Satter, appearing in this morning's newspapers contains the following interesting facts: 'Prosecutors in Sweden have not brought any formal charges against Assange. WikiLeaks lawyer Mark Stephens said that there are doubts as to whether Sweden has the legal right to extradite him simply for questioning.' *** Mr. Assange still has the right to be considered innocent until proven guilty does he not? He has repeatedly offered to be questioned by the Swedish authorities, provided such questioning occurs while he remains in England. This all begins to look like a misuse of the justice system in order to persecute Mr. Assange for political motives. Ross

One can only hope that this is the start of a worldwide revolution, an NWO of the people of the world shall we say.

I love the V for Vendetta reference, it all seems very fitting! Ironically enough, I watched a live performance of Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture a couple of weeks ago. I hope that was a sign from above!

V masks at the ready!!!!

Viva le Revolution!

Ps. I agree with 'innocent until proven guilty', but have left off that topic to keep on the OP!
edit on 8/12/10 by Longy4eva because: added innocent till proven guilty

i agree there's alot of sick stuff on 4chan and alot of perverted people. but assange is not a rapist. he's accused of possibly, maybe, sort of, intentionally breaking his condom during a consensual one-night-stand.

I'll say. Did you see how short her dress was? She was obviously asking for it.

trollface.jpg

This may pick up speed if more idiocy follows from the government. Lots of people are becoming oldfags today and so as long as they have new targets than the ddosing will continue. If there is any real backlash than we'll get to see the IRL hacking that most of the script kiddies don't know how to do.

Did you get them from the Scientific Foundation Dedicated to the Research of Pixie Dust and Unicorn Horns, or were they brought before a grand jury in the Civil Court of Saint Nicolas Clause?

Nah
He got his facts from the MSM. We KNOW the MSM only tells us the truth and nothing but the truth...

And if you believe that one I have a bridge for sale....

It would REALLY be interesting to see the money trail on the woman who is the accuser.

Please post for everyone in the world the definition of rape and then right after that post the formal charges against Julian assange. Get your facts straight before you go smearing other people.

The moment a woman says No it becomes rape, either before or during the act.

He's accused of not stopping when asked and using force to continue, thus making him a rapist if such charges are true.

You need to research the topic before posting, It isn't my job to prove his guilt or innocents thats a matter for the courts.

I won't however ever defend a suspected rapist because his documents might help to support my own deranged ideas.

Guess what sparky...anyone can make an allegation.
YOU could be accused of rape at any time.
I don't think anyone can speak intelligently about what exactly the allegations are, as far as i know, there have been no formal charges announced.

I've read quite a few of the news stories, and it's pretty tough for me to believe this is about JA "not stopping when asked and using force to continue"

The most detailed accounts I've read don't say that, so since you've provided this synopsis, maybe you could back it up with a news article?

The legal argument seems to be centered around a broken condom during a consensual encounter.

Scary note: that dumb skank Sarah Palin is claiming her website has been attacked and hacked by Anon. This is completely untrue. While there was talk of her site being attacked, at no point was there ever a concerted effort to target her... they honestly felt she wasn't worthy of being a target. What's scary is that Palin is lying and could roll this into something bigger.

I see no better excuse to completely shut down the internet than the attacks on private corporations. Anon thinks they are acting in the public interest. These misguided youths will be the cause of web communication ending overnight without notice. Even some of the governments who keep their sites open will be so overloaded with emails that there will be a denial of service on those left open. Your Blackberries will become useless blueberries. I think I shall invest in postage stamps because that is the only we we will be able to communicate.

If the internet gets shut down, so will global commerce. Ain't gonna intentionally happen because there isn't a can of tomato paste that moves from producer to buyer without it.

The next solar maximum, however, could do it.

Excellent! I love blueberries!

I highly doubt there will be any turning off of the internet because of some DDOSing. Really, this sort of thing happens all the time, just not to mastercard and visa. Now, if they start targetting the NYSE or something well then things could get exciting.

Here allow me to do what you found so difficult of a task. I will now provide you with the facts and definitions as they are known. First the definition of rape.

Rape:

A criminal offense defined in most states as forcible sexual relations with a person against that person's will. Rape is the commission of unlawful sexual intercourse or unlawful sexual intrusion. Rape laws in the United States have been revised over the years, and they vary from state to state. Historically, rape was defined as unlawful sexual intercourse with a woman against her will. The essential elements of the crime were sexual penetration, force, and lack of consent. Women who were raped were expected to have physically resisted to the utmost of their powers or their assailant would not be convicted of rape. Additionally, a husband could have sex with his wife against her will without being charged with rape. Beginning in the 1970s, state legislatures and courts expanded and redefined the crime of rape to reflect modern notions of equality and legal propriety.

More Here

Next are the charges against Julian Assange:

Rosander says Sweden has not asked for extradition and would not comment whether it would. The prosecutor has not filed formal charges against Assange. "He is not charged but he is a suspect in among other things rape. The other crimes are that he is suspected of sexual molestation and unlawful coercion," Rosander said.

Source

Here is the problem. There are no formal charges filed against Julian Assange. He is only wanted for questioning. This usually happens when the authorities have very little evidence to back up an allegation against someone. This also means that it is more than likely there will never be any charges brought against Julian Assange in this "rape" case because of lack of sufficient evidence.

You have claimed that there were formal charges and you have already persecuted him as a rapist with absolutely no proof to your claims and no sources to back them up.

Reading about the support Wikileaks caused a few movie scenes to flash through my mind-

Braveheart: At the first engagement, the nobles have just rode off to me the King's General. Yemesh, the Irishman and Wallace are sitting on their horses and Yemesh asks, "Where are you going"?

"To pick a fight"

Remember that song by Sting, Russians? Well, I hope the NWO love their children too...

Have been reading up on extradition in the E.U.. Its done by European Arrest Warrant (EAW), applicable to all member states, and which are handled through the courts. There are several bases upon which Julian Assange's extradition could be denied. The strongest of these appears to be the the following: An EAW can only be issued for the purposes of conducting a criminal prosecution (not merely an investigation). Since Mr. Assange has not been charged, but is merely wanted for questioning, I don't see how this can go anywhere. I also don't understand how realizing this objection could take a full week, during which he has to cool his heels in a prison. Ross
