Can you provide any sources on his arrest back in australia and what he was charged with, that are from the time? because all I can find are articles written recently and I would of thought the capture of the culprit who had stumbled on to a insecure network (my opinion) would of made the news.

Any attempts to extradite him for his hacking?

if you contact the court and ask for a record
from them. It should be in their archives.

I would assume this would have been a rather large story..

I've never said I idolize him..
I'd just rather not demonize him based on unsubstansiated facts and a vague connection to another organization through donations....
I'd rather proof....That means REAL proof, not the stuff you are making up or reading on blogs..

In 1992, he pled guilty to 24 charges of hacking and was released on bond for good conduct after being fined AU$2100. The prosecutor said "there is just no evidence that there was anything other than sort of intelligent inquisitiveness and the pleasure of being able to surf through these various computers".

As I put in my last post I really wouldn't trust any of those articles, If you check the dates they were all written recently and none of them provide any poof. I would like to see court records or at least an article from around the time, doubt it will happen.
