Exactly. As an amateur astronomer, if I'm going to get my telescope out that night, I will watch jets to see if they are leaving persistent
contrails. If they are, it means the night won't be good for star gazing, as it will either be hazy with ice crystals, or it is going to cloud over
due to the approaching front. If there are no contrails, or they are short and dissipate quickly, then chances are good it's going to be a nice
clear night.
Contrails are contrails, not chemtrails.
