Sunak wasn’t always public sector though was he?

While it certainly garners the need to be very cognizant of his policies, and if there are conflicts of interest… it’s different than someone becoming very rich from only working in government.

When Putin invaded Ukraine Abramovich had all his British holdings (Chelsea Football Club), estates and finances frozen by the UK Government. The moneys from the sale of his Chelsea football team by the UK Government was supposed to be used for aiding Ukraine. As late as last year..... that money is yet to 'materialise'.
Abramovich, although having documented ties to Putin because of both their involvement with oil company Sibfnet, has always denied any financial colusion with Putin. He, along with many other Russian Oligarchs was one that was 'expelled' from Russia when Putin had a purge on Russian oligatchs.
If he was in any way connected financially to Putin, I would have expected him to have been welcomed back with open arms to Russia by Putin given the sanctions the West have put on him. Just a thought.

Putin and Zelenskyy are BOTH dictators and dictators cheat...especially when it comes to elections.
Why can't EVERYBODY here accept this fact?

In Ukraine, Zelenskyy cancels elections because he's uncertain of winning and, in Russia, Putin allows elections to continue because he's already made certain he will win...again...and again...and again.

Also as far as I'm aware Ukrainian law says there are to be no Presidential elections during wartime.
