Many social media accounts down for Super Tuesday

It appears several social media groups are down and on Super Tuesday? Is this a foreshadow of things to come or just coincidence?

Yep Facebook logged me out and I can’t log back in.
I have been following an incident on there that happened in my area last night, otherwise I don’t ever use it.

Yep. First it was AT&T, then Xfinity, now social media.

Any other time in the past, I would have been shocked. Man they sure are trying hard.

It's strange. I can still see facebook marketplace without logging in and it works fine.

facebook is the only one I use just because most of my family is on it, logged me out and said the password is no good when I tried to log back in.

Same. I just use it for sports and messenger.

My wife and her friend just got off the phone talking about getting kicked out of Facebook messenger and we thought it may be just a local or regional thing, but it looks to be pretty wide spread.

It'd be very interesting to see if Twitter is having problems too.

X is fine. I use it under a company name to promote stuff for my job and logged in to see if it was down as well.

Communication blackout on Super Tuesday…what are the odds? 🤔

Downdetector has nearly a half a million reports for facebook, twitter has 800 ish, no reported outage on tic tok (or however you spell it just woke up), instagram about 90k reports and thats where I run out of social media knowledge.

These all show in the last hour, make of that what you will.

Is the outage global...or just the US? Cannot get a good answer online.

It’s funny but the app that controls my Honeywell Wi-Fi thermostat is down also.
Never seen it down in the 7 or 8 years I’ve had it.

I wish all social media would go down permanently. Get these little twats out of the house and interacting with people in person again. What happened to having people over for a BBQ?
