True, but not attempting to equalize injustices will lead to faster loss of freedoms and equalities.

Spoken like a true Marxist.
Cheers comrade

A society that puts equality—in the sense of equality of outcome—ahead of freedom will end up with neither equality nor freedom. The use of force to achieve equality will destroy freedom, and the force, introduced for good purposes, will end up in the hands of people who use it to promote their own interests. Thomas Sowell

That's the problem with those right-wing authoritarians. They promise to be able to stop the inevitable cycles of large populations of intelligent individuals with divergent expectations. All everyone has to do is comply. And then it all falls apart anyway, so they just become more authoritarian and tyrannical as they fail harder.

You're describing the left, not the right.

What is woke? How do you define it?

I know the BLM made up the term to mean to care and be decent to anyone, support all rights, for everyone. In Christianity, Jesus is the definition of woke - love thy brother, turn the other cheek and all that.

What does woke mean to you?

It’s the opposite of asleep. I’d imagine it is meant to insinuate having been shaken awake, if some of the attitudes that the woke display are anything to go off.

A government of, for and by the people......

Oh good, for once we agree.

People elect a leader and then that leader leads until he or she is replaced by another. And so on and on. That's exactly what we have... it's called democracy.

Are you unhappy with the way the American system has worked since inception? What would you replace it with?
Your leader is elected by your representative not the people.

It’s not the message it’s the delivery that is offensive.

Marxism and Communism are primarily an economic theories about labor and distribution.

Civil rights are different to Marxism or Communism.

I'm not a Marxist. I'm not a Communist. I'm a Capitalist.

No, I am describing how both the extreme left and the extreme right both fail when they become dictatorial.

They start out saying that they will fix everything that everyone else caused. Then they increasingly tighten their grip and try to silence their opposition. One or two things might get better, but overall the country still has most of the same problems, and new ones spring up all the time. So the dictators blame their opposition and they crack down harder, and still nothing much improves, and the extra strain on the country caused by the allocation of resources to the mechanisms of oppression begin to place further strain on the country. And the dictatorship responds by blaming everyone else and cracking down harder. Rinse and repeat.

There have historically been far more right wing dictatorships than there have been left wing ones. It's what they do.

The United States is not a democracy.

The word democracy is not found in the Constitution at all.

But of course it does mention "election" 12 times and other words similar to election (such as "electors"), 46 times. It also mentions the the word "vote" 36 times.

And of course, there's the 15th Amendment.

The US Constitution describes a democracy.

This argument from elimination is faulty here,
this isn't a math equation.

It always astonishes me how the Right thinks the Left is controlling.

Is there an alternate universe?

Biden is a dictator by his own definition.

As of November 16, 2023, Joe Biden (D) has signed 124 executive orders,
163 presidential memoranda, 529 proclamations, and 107 notices.

BTW: even if it is classified, unless you have an agreement with the US Govt, there is no criminal act in viewing nor in disseminating it.

If you DO hold a security clearance, and do not have a need to know, you should NOT click on it. And most definately not disseminate it.

Funny twist huh?

The Right thinks anything they don't agree with is wrong and makes claims the Left is trying to control the people by not agreeing with the Right's thinking.

It is the Right who act like dictators.

Moto of the Right: "Right is Right"

I don't do Biden. It's too soon to assess without bias.

Please tell me why you think Biden is a dictator.

Enough with the drama.

Biden is a long-time career politician. He works within a system - listening to advisors, etc.

The presidency is not in reality a single person -- it is a team -- hopefully an intelligent, well educated, knowledgeable, experienced team.

It is very unlikely Biden signed anything without careful consideration from his team.

Actually, one of the complaints I heard about Biden is he is too "hands-across-the-aisle" when working with opposition.

So, a flat out NO! There is nothing about Biden that would qualify as Dictator behavior.

Unlike someone else.

WOKE -- I'm not seeing anything except fear from objectors. Now expected to acknowledge and accept what's always been -- just not deemed socially acceptable by some uptight holier-than-thou people.

Common courtesy hurts no one.

Do you really want to explore his handsy ways?

The glossary wouldn't be needed if these woke
ideas had always been, and they will never be
in many countries.

I've posted facts, your entitled to your opinions.
