A law is only as good as its enforcement. the COTUS over rides the state law on Guns and as such can be ignored legally if you can prove the COTUS is being abridged by the state law.

Well I do view it as an open violation of the 2nd Amendment. A very egregious one at that.

Last I checked, Lansing was in the US. The 2nd Amendment is a RIGHT not a law.

Therefore, this is a blatant violation of the 2nd, and the court system will eventually come to that same conclusion.

Overall, USA has a bigger mental Violence issue then we have.
Bigger point you missed, our politicians dont conceal carry while out in public.

Personally I think our gun laws are a little over the top, some states cant own certain firearms solely based on looks. (like looks is going to kill you more dead....)
