Lmao. Do you really, for one second, believe that the government would defund its enforcement arm?

It always cracks me up to see someone anti-gun control vocalize their support for the police. Who do you think would be knocking at your door to collect your guns?

lol

Who's going to take them?

The police showing up would be a perfect time to report that they fell out of my boat when I was fishing.

What a bulletproof plan (no pun intended). I’m sure they will have never heard that one before.

That doesn't seem to mean anything to these cretins.

You're right.

In reality I will turn over every registered firearm I own.

I hope they can't sleep, eat or freely roam about without wondering if. That's how it should be.

I would wager they sleep just fine.

Wouldnt you in a gated community protected with firearms?

Yes, and don't forget the security cameras all around in addition to (most likely) regular police patrols. Well, all except for at Nancy Pelosi's house I guess.

Why do Politicians choose to carry a firearm?

Guilt mostly, they know the evil they have been doing and fear someone coming for them when no one is going to (waste ammunition on their carcasses). A good example is Dianne Feinstein carrying and at the same time writing unconstitutional anti-gun bills.

"The guilty flee when no man pursueth".

This in general makes sense and likely true.

Yet we see cities and counties all over the country who have vocally expressed that they would not follow gun control laws.

I have no problem with them banning guns within the capitol building. Also within any high priority government building without a special permit that a restricted group can have. If someone has to go into the building and has a conceiled weapon permit, they should have a special locked box for the people to leave their gun in till they leave the building if they forget to remove it before coming in. As long as they get their own gun back and checks are done to validate it was their gun when they check it in.

There is no reason for someone to bring a gun into a place like that. If people are allowed, it disrupts the workplace and causes fear for some of the workers there. We have concealed weapon permits we can obtain which allow a person to carry a weapon in places that are not guarded so they can protect themselves if a loose cannon is in the place with a gun, but if security checks everyone, than there is a low risk of having to protect oneself in that location.

But that statement I have made does not mean that I believe we cannot have guns in other places, and I think if a person has a concealed weapon permit they should be allowed to carry a gun in most places. The second amendment does not give us the right to instill fear in others, it is to protect oneself from government going full totalitarian. Also I think that communities should be allowed to restrict open carry in their towns to keep people from being scared. If a person has a concealed weapon permit they should keep it concealed, not scare people by banishing their weapon in public. We used to have laws in towns here to keep people from scaring and intimidating others, but lately there are a few people carrying rifles around and people are leery to be out in public. It is not that hard to get a concealed weapon permit if you are an honest and sensible person without a criminal record. I personally don't have a concealed weapon permit but know lots of people who have one and I am glad that there are good people out there that are armed in case something happens, and I like it that I don't see them with a gun hanging on their side in stores. This is not the wild west, this is Yooperland. We have a lot of people with guns in the U.P, and very few of them are crazy with them.

Always remember, our rights to bear arms are not there to instill fear in others or to intimidate other citizens who also have rights. Just get a concealed weapon permit and keep the gun hidden, and remember, if you have done something wrong and cannot get a concealed weapon permit, it is your fault, not the police departments fault.

I feel the same way I felt when the SOBs mandated the death jab for the plebes but exempted themselves from having to take it.

Pitchforks. Tar. Feathers. Torches.

New building ribbon cutting today and the governess will be here.. Had a chance to meet the governess and get a free lunch. Turned it down and will be leaving early. Got here this morning and the employee lot is closed???? Going to be a long morning. The contractors working on the building get the day off but not us.

Funny story. A co worker said they were going to wear the ever popular. Not My Governor shirt . Manager warned them not to. But it's true because they live in Indiana.

This whole thing is Bull#.

A commission gets to decide this?

So much for "we the people"

Hopefully lawsuits come for this, although with our current government, they won't get far.

As an Independent; I'll say this: Nothing was or is wrong with the Federal Constitution as it stands and was written.

It needs no interpretations and it needed no Amendments. All those that have made Amendments to it are guilty of Treason.

The 50 however; Need to get their own constitutions in order and stop trying to ruin what has kept us all free men and women protected under it where all are guaranteed life, liberty & the pursuit of happiness.

The states first thought should be; What did D.C. do on this matter with it's citizens? Then copy that.

The End

Two points.

1. I truly pray we never have a situation like that, but it doesn’t look promising. With that said, I’ll leave it at talk is cheap.

2. But if it’s a law, it’s a law. Shouldn’t the law be followed regardless of whether you agree with it or not?

Isn't that what the National Socialist Party told the German citizens in the 1930s and 1940s?

Turning fellow citizens was the law.

Lining up for the gas chamber was the law.

Who makes the law? Who follows the law? What gives the law moral predominance so that we must follow it without question.

People who think like you seem to (or maybe you're being sarcastic) are the most dangerous. The state has no power if the people do not follow its unlawful edicts. It's those who would blindly obey everything the state says who give it its power.
