The youth need to rise up to save their home (Earth) because we all seem to be in an apathetic haze. Bring it on.

That might be one element. 1963 people marched for civil rights.

What will 2023 bring? I’m not seeing mass protests/marches for earth.. I see one for the young that are tired of high prices of living. We are already seeing that in part of the world. Out with the old and in with the new. Iran. Rebirth.

Unfortunately I see this more as ushering in UBI, socialism, healthcare, wanting more “fairness”, equality, equity…
Perhaps higher education reform. Maybe something happening with the Tuition forgiveness not going through????

They are talking about getting rid of Tik Tok… that will be very interesting.

Dear Rooster, hold on tight this this your enemy year. Some will try to sugar coat it, but I won’t. When you are in your animals enemy year everything is more difficult, work, health, relationships.
Keep in mind, sometimes it’s those bad years that give us the most growth and allow us to enjoy the good years!
Lay low!! Don’t take risks! Stay as healthy as possible!

2022 was not a good year for most Tigers, but 2023 will be much better.
It will be a fast fast fast year but oddly a lot more relaxing for dear tigers.
Enjoy a smooth year without too much highs or lows (exactly how I like years!)

You lucky Monkey! This is your year, fun, money, happiness. Monkey and Rabbits are very similar so it’s going to be a good year!

The one negative, or positive if you see it that way is that you might have to face some truth. (Something significant)

That could be something profound like, “Should I be working here”, or something much more startling like “do I really love this person”……

Good luck!

I'm a Dragon - 1964 - Can't remember the element for that year, I know it's not metal...

...but, I remember that a Chinese astrology book I had years ago said that my particular elemental year had a personality totally different than the average dragon - I think it was something about most dragons being arrogant, but not from my year's element..

Anyway, if you have any particular insight as to this coming year for my sign, I'd love to hear it...and my daughter is a Tiger, born 1998...would love to know if there any indications for romance for her (she's never been much for 'dating around', too much the 'romantic')

No worries, if you run out of time for replies...no pressure..

Mixed year for the dog, ups and downs. Some health issues but nothing major, which also means if you have something nagging, go get it checked out before it turns to something big.
Might have some financial issues, but you’ll recover. When I hear something like that before the New Year it means to scan over any investments, savings, anything financial related (even a house) think about where there might be weaknesses and fix before the new year if needed.

Some huge changes happened in 63 like you said.
It was a year of turmoil and it looks like this year will be as well.

I am a 1975 Rabbit, and a Pisces star sign, which is a water sign so hopefully I get some good luck or at least dont get involved in any crazyness.
Probably wishful thinking.

Is it possible you are a Golden dragon? If so congratulations!! (Correction! You are a WOOD dragon, which is good as water nourishes wood this year)
This year will be up and down for you. Any dip you have you’ll recover. Just be aware of not being too harsh to those you love this year. Tiger and Dragon are best friends, so you and your daughter probably have a very deep connection, not just a mother/daughter connection. My daughter and I are also animal best friends, and it is so true!

Also for your daughter, tell her to go for dragons (most likely for her people born in 2000 or if she prefers older 1988) If she goes for it, the outcome will be very favorable this year.

Hello fellow rabbit, we are the same year same sign.
We are going to get a breather, much better than last. An animal in their year usually has some bad luck, but we are the luckiest sign, and we are Wood Rabbits and it’s a water rabbit year and Water nourishes Wood, so we are good good good. Which thank goodness, because I really don’t have much left after the last few years!!!

Chinese NY starts on the 22nd, but haven’t you slowly felt things getting better already? I have.

How about the rat?

If you only knew how many rats I have in my life.
Thanks for the pandemic rat year!!🤣 2020

This will be a year of nonstop change. Not a good year and not a bad year.
Be aware of health issues in the spring (March/April)

When I have years predicted like this, to me it means to lay low. Because it’s such a year of change, don’t initiate change because enough will be thrown at you. Probably not the best relationship year for you. When I say relationship, that doesn’t mean just a love, it can be with relatives…

Good luck little rat!

What about people born in late January to early February, since the Chinese New Year is different from Western New Year?

So, the year of birth for those of us born in those few short weeks may be off? My birth month and year list "Rat", but I fall under "pig" (don't know which is worse, identifying as a "rat" or a "pig" 🙄) when I include my date of birth, versus only month and year of birth. The date changes my sign.

Or, does the prior year include all of January through the first week of February (depending on the New Year date)?

I hope so. I need a good year. Lost my wife to cancer in 2020, lost my father in 2021, and my company phased out my job in 2022.

Thanks JAG!!!

Yes if your birth month and year is listed under Rat, you are rat!

Each sign has positive and negative qualities and each have their turn at the wheel (twelve year calendar) of luck and bad luck years.

You have to go by the Chinese calendar for the year of your birth.
