as I recall
the Sri Lanka elite, mostly educated at Western universities,
decided to save the planet with green agriculture. no pesticides, no GMO seeds, no chemical fertilizer.
devastating results on country's agriculture. food shortages, price increases, etc.
what good is any government if it can't make sure its people are fed???

Problems with this organic plan emerged right at the beginning of its rollout. While the Sri Lankan government was quick to bring in a ban on chemical fertilizers, it hadn't really thought through what was needed to replace it. Hopes of making money from the rising global demand for organic produce were also overstated. Producing and selling organic food around the world requires detailed inspections and testing over time to meet strict legal standards. None of that was in place. And soon it became clear that farmers faced losing crops and livelihoods. Within just months of it being introduced, the organic plan was crumbling, and public backlash rowing. That sharp drop in rice yields forced the Sri Lankan government towards a drastic and expensive fix.

Yep and this isn't good either

twitter.com...

The power is out in the supermarkets in Sri lanka 🇱🇰. People are shopping in the dark.

Fuel sales are banned for private citizens and guarded by the military.

Trains are vastly over-crowded.

The Gov't has appealed to 🇷🇺 Russia to buy energy on credit.

NWO is angry about the Georgia Guidestones !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🤬

So Sri Lanka is correlated to some obscure oversized stone tablets being destroyed half way across the globe? The same tablets that are immortalized by having all their texts available to the whole planet via the internet?

That's a bulletproof theory. I wanted to argue, but your logic is too sound sir. Well played.

The great reset is going as planned.

We'll see if Europe gets there and if the people finally go after the unelected beaurocrats.

Really? all that had to fall was Sri Lanka?

I'm glad you have the wisdom and perception to see the plan, but some of us are gonna need a primer or map to show us how nondescript Sri Lanka is the key to the NWO or WEF great reset.

Get the book I have and you will know the future too. It always comes true, every part.

I have worse news for you then that. Fighting will eventually break out everywhere. While they don't get their wish of whittling down the worlds population to 500 million, there will be a major loss of life before the seven year Tribulation (Jacobs trouble) is complete. It has been calculated to 58% of Earths population perishes from assorted calamities. Sorry.

Sounds like something my crazy uncle would post on Facebook (going off memory from when I had an account ten years ago)

Do you think 500 million people could keep an international supply chain afloat? They could produce every component and product those to into plus build and man the vessels that transport them? Build and man our infrastructure, schools, IT, customer services, militaries, postal services...

Would you have said this a week ago, or is it purely because those silly stones are part of the side feed in periodicals?

I've been describing the same things for some time now. They want it all, and they don't need large international supply chains. With hidden technology, they don't need a lot of people.

They are greedy, and therein lies the problem. After they go after us, they go after each other. That's how evil works.

What do you base your theory on? Power struggles and infighting of humanity? Because that's nothing new and honestly calmer now than in most periods of history even with our increased ability for destruction.

Things are going to heat up, both figuratively, and literally. All kinds of things are going to happen. The oceans are going to change, and a large portion will die. Can you imagine all of the fish in an ocean dying? Can you image hailstones 75-120 lbs each falling? I bet that will make one heck of a dent in your car hood. It also appears that there is nuclear war. There are descriptions of people having to stay out of certain areas, and place markers when the dead are found for others in protective suits to go in later and retrieve the bodies. Something like a mountain comes out of the sky too. It sounds like they are describing an asteroid. Im only scratching the surface here for you. There is a lot more.

Some people love their religious doom porn. Hopefully those people are prepping and getting their dehydrated Bibles ready for the end times.

I was always under the impression the book of revelations was to be taken figuratively. The Bible is full of hyperbole and analogies, much of which may have gotten a botched translation out of the original language since idioms are hard to convert.

Hell, even when I was forced to go to church, most respectable church's looked down on the fire and brimstone sects as the macro message of Christianity is the inverse, a religion of love, not war.

Well, you're wrong bub, the end times are nigh, for real this time. Make sure you're stocked up on silver coins, iodine and freeze dried venison. Like the Good Book says: sleep with one eye open, gripping your pillow tight.

It's been thousands of years since that book came out, and every so often someone claims to know the timing.

They use that so that they can validate their own platform and pepper in some of their own teachings. Often times, these same people will get their followers to act with the expectation the end is here. There's even a popular idiom that comes from it "drinking the Kool aid", where followers drink laced Kool aid in an act of mass suicide.

Then you have grifters, those who are profiteers, preying on people's beliefs.

But the good book does say who is judged more...

James 3:1 (ESV)

3 Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers, for you know that we who teach will be judged with greater strictness.

So careful saying things with such absolutism. Better to say "I believe" rather than "this is going to happen soon".
.. The omnipotent one may view you as a teacher.

From the horses mouth on his justification or logic to make the horrible decision -

In 2020, Sri Lanka imported (both state and private sector) foreign fertilizers worth  $259 million, representing 1.6 percent of the country’s total imports by value according to Central Bank statistics. Sources indicate that the 2021 import bill could potentially total in the range of $300-$400 million given current international prices. By limiting and/or banning costly foreign exchange draining fertilizer and agrochemical imports, the Sri Lankan government aims to generate significant import cost savings.

I just have a hard time believing third world nations are making decisions purely for climate change. They make decisions based off money.

Western governments are doing it all the time.

Sri Lanka’s President Gotabaya Rajapaksa said the country would move towards green agriculture as well as renewable energy in his speech to a new session of Parliament January 18, 2022.

The president, who took power in 2019, also announced that his government’s goal was to achieve the carbon neutral target by 2050.

“Sri Lanka is already a co-leader in the Global Compact for No New Coal Energy. We will not approve the construction of coal power plants in the future for any reason,” Rajapaksa said.

He noted that there was initially a misunderstanding about his government’s polcy implementation on non-toxic green agriculture.

“The broad concept of green agriculture which was sometimes narrowed down to organic fertilisers even by responsible authorities led to the spread of misconceptions. As some decisions led to public hardships we had to make some changes to them,” Rajapaksa noted.

I assume you mean the "Good Book" so we are going from socio-political to theology? I want to believe do you have a specific passage that mentions the fall of Sri Lanka?
