Thats because government is about control so examples serve a purpose even state sponsored robbery.

Scotland had a referendum in 2014 and choose to remain as part of the UK.

So that ship has sailed for the time being, with it being 52/48% split i really don't see another referendum to be allowed anytime soon.

Personally i voted to leave, but will of the people and all that jazz.

That was a interesting vote as a friend's mother pointed out all the early voting that was allowed was taken to wait for it WESTMINSTER to be counted,not to mention all the votes from out of the way places were not escorted as per the rules most were taken to count centres by one person which is illegal , we can give the Americans a run for their money when it comes to dodgy elections ,we might have even been the training ground for it as when I looked at the amounts of votes cast it did not add up in a population of 5.5 million .

Or as a wise man once told me, Don't vote for them it only encourages them ,then they will want you to do it again

And then we got Brexit ta boot which was just the icing on the cake really.

It is what it is i suppose.

Our political system in the UK is broken, "a two-horse race where someone stole one of the horses" just about ticks the box.

And the Scottish vote counts for little because there are not enough people in Scotland to make it count for much comparatively speaking.

It don't matter anyway because the fact is Boris and his Tory ilk can get away with whatever they please whilst Labour remains unelectable.

Keir Starmer sounds like a depressed Dalek ffs, and their policies???!!!

No wonder Boris can get away with hiding in the fridge, and having full-blown illegal parties whilst people were dying alone.

There is no shame to their game, never has been and never will be imho.

Typical now i suppose, i seem to recall when i was little lad, snow falling in late November early December.

But now it falls generally more like January.

I can remember a few white Christmas but not that many if I'm honest.

There is still snow in Moscow in winter. We can arrange its delivery to Scotland. Inexpensive.

Oh there is plenty of snow is Scotland over winter on the mountains and hills further up North turretless.

It just does not make it that far down the Clyde Valley most years where Glasgow lies on the floodplain, or not in the manner it once did.

Think thats the Science Centre, a great place to take the kids.

Probably Ben Lomond mountain wise, so about 24 miles i think near Helensburgh or their about.

Then there are the Campsies, which are a range of hills about 15 miles distant on the horizon.

Cathkin Braes is closest set of hills through lying a few miles up from the likes of Castlemilk, Fernhill or Burnside which is where my parents stay.

The person we stayed with mentioned his grandmother gave that away along with Urquhart Castle. The funny part is we couldn't even get in when we got there since we didn't have a reservation.
