In the midst of the tense situation with the West, Russia confirms holding exercise with nuclear weapons systems.
President Vladimir Putin will personally attend a major Russian military exercise on Saturday.
This is stated by the Kremlin's spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, according to Russian media.

The exercise will have the participation of Russia's nuclear forces and will, among other things, test the firing of ballistic missiles and cruise missiles to simulate a nuclear attack.

Britain already warned last week that Russia was planning to hold a nuclear strategic exercise.
According to the British Secretary of Defense, Ben Wallace, that would be a wrong signal during the current conflict between Russia and the West.

The exercise is interpreted as a deterrent exercise. But therein lies the fact that you try to keep each other in check by sending a message that not only do you have a nuclear potential - it works if you need it, he says.

Let´s hope it is not a test of a future planned mission, mission "global dominance"

I hope this doesn't accidently set off the Russian "Dead Hand" system(or todays version of it).
I've always thought if a nuke war starts it will be because of some computer error,or mis communication.

It seems to be gtting more tense thats for sure,today we see warning sirens in Donbass and Russians being evacuated from the region which does not seem comforting to me.

either the transition is underway, or Biden isn't concerned if he had to be called into a meeting.

A presidents job is to review the information all of his advisors bring to the table, and make the best decision possible for the country. Since our commander in chief obviously is no longer capable of processing complex information, I wonder who will/is making the decisions? Would be one or all of the war-mongers by consensus? Obama 2.0? Or even higher up?

I've never thought of Putin as being foolish up to now-
I may not be a fan of his but I can see his point about NATO encroachment over the years,But if he does lauch a load of "practice" ICBMs tomorrow,I would say that is highly foolish behaviour.
Reason:
Because I don't think Biden is in full control of his faculties-or his own ego.
I would not trust Biden to make rational decisions if Putin lauches practice missiles of the potentially nuclear kind at this stage.
What if one of these test missiles malfunctions in its trajectory,or is interpreted as though its heading towards the US/Europe?

Can anyone really trust the judgement of the obviously mentally impaired Biden to react with a cool head?
