I'm pretty much drawing that conclusion now.

It's hard to take anyone seriously who thinks one's age solely defines who you are as a human being.

Like I said earlier, he's just another person shooting holes in the same boat we're all in.

You did.

It's hard to have a discussion with whiny little people who are offended by everything.

Also there's no hate here.

Disappointment. Yes. Disgust with the apathy that has permeated this country? Yes. But not hatred.

That's your invention.

Just read what you write.

And you're supposed to be the example that people follow?

In the realm of the triggered, it seems you're pretty up there.

I never claimed to be anyone's example either.

Just grasping at straws here aren't you?

I give one generation # and it's all fine and dandy, call out the boomers for their # and suddenly I'm a bigot and you wanna cry all over your keyboard.

How pathetic.

Whiny #. That's all this is.

Whining. I told you in the OP some of you would get your feelings hurt.

The truth is that boomers created the world we live in today good and bad.

We've had fantastic growth and awesome technology as a result of their hard work.

But as a result of their preoccupations, political apathy, and refusal to even acknowledge their role in it there's been some pretty awful things happening.

A fascist technocracy faces us today. One they helped create and ignored the warnings the whole time. Now that many are old and frail they also want to lock us down, force us to get jabbed, and treat the uncompliant like terrorists.

The children of these people are woke millennials who are fragile emotionally but aggressively manipulative and tyrannical.

This # only gets worse.

Ill send something down range for you and for those like us very soon my brother.

I get what you are saying it reminds me of the "rage into the night" scenario and you are onto something here.

I believe many got your back.

You give yourself way too much credit.

My feelings aren't hurt. I just expected better from you since I typically like your posts. But I can see now, you've lost your balance.

Like I said, you aren't the first and you won't be the last.

Good luck to you.

I'm not here to please you or anyone else.

I'm glad you typically like my posts but quite frankly you've totally missed the point. You never even bother to ask any questions. Just a bunch of butthurt "you hate old people" cop out posts.

I do typically like your posts. In fact, I'd wager we probably agree 90% of the time on most things politically.

But this thread has illustrated something I've often thought about. We seem to live in an all or nothing world now. If you couldn't muster some simple conversational decency with someone like me on this topic, let's be honest, no condition will satisfy you- past, present or future. You're seeking 100% compliance and couldn't possibly fathom that you might have gone a bridge too far.

You talk of honor, but there's nothing honorable about using language that fails to separate the culpable from the blameless.

I told you down range. Look for my next thread in the art forum.

the old people in my life did their best to prepare my heart and mind for the future. If I wanted to tell a story I wouldn't do it this way, but I have one.

don't let anyone deter the message where is love in America?

I carried their war on terror on my back.

I carried their 2008 financial crisis on my back.

I will carry their trillions in spending on broke programs I will never benefit from, but they do.

This system is set up by them to extract as much wealth from me as possible before they kick the bucket and now some of them want to segregate society to protect themselves from COVID.

These are all boomer ideas.

You allowed / are allowing all of these same things to happen now - the proof is that they are happening. If you had not allowed what things are happening now to happen they wouldn't be happening now. What makes you different from most boomers (the ones not politically connected) that have no say, whatsoever, in what happens? If you're a parent, what are doing TODAY to ensure that your children don't have problems in the future???? Blame, blame, blame is the name of the game in this thread. I hazard to say that you probably are doing exactly the same things that most of us "boomers" did - teaching your children responsibility and honor by the way we lead our lives.

There's nothing honorable about saddling our children with the exhaust fumes of the prosperity the adults used up. Dropping debt bombs on future generations knowing they'll be dead and gone and their children will be stuck with it.

No, there is not...100% agree.

Just be careful who you aim at when seeking culpability. That has been my point from the very beginning of the thread. There are ample allies from the 'older' generation who are just as appalled as we are. Let's not alienate or victimize them, as many have done to potential allies in so many other 'movements' I don't care to mention.

Look, fair enough.

I'm not trying to blame every old person who ever received a benefit from the government.

I really am specifically targeting a particular group of people who are living in fear and will gladly starve us and isolate us like Noam Chomsky suggests.

The push to vaccinate children is also a telling indicator of the fear mentality amongst the older generations. The image in the OP comes to mind, using the young as stab vests to make them feel better and maximize Pfizer's coffers.

Meanwhile the risks of the vaccine are unknown and yet these fearful old people don't seem to care. The attitude displayed by Chomsky is the prevailing attitude among the aging liberal (and some conservative) population.

Everything I said in my OP is true. Whether you want to accept that or not is not something I can control. But I am no more bigoted for calling this # out than I am for calling out millennials for being narcissistic, self-aggrandizing, porn-addicted masturbators (in more ways than one).

It is a generational problem. My generation is preoccupied with escapism, pornography, and narcissistic pursuits.

The boomer generation is too busy fleecing the system to want to reform it and on top of that they're giving us a fascist dictatorship that millennials will likely administer in the coming decade with all of their faults. We have to pay, as millennials, for programs we'll never benefit from, will pay debt we didn't incur, and will likely have to suffer much lower standards of living as a result.

Now we have a medical dictatorship that is stealing life from our children with lockdowns, mask mandates, vaxx mandates, and as Noam Chomsky is calling for; the isolation and starvation of those who do not comply.

What a world we were left with and I'm a bigot for saying so? I don't think so.

No, you are not bigoted for complaining, it's when you blame an entire generation for things they had no control over in most cases, and apply the hate to an entire class of people.

Do you actually know, in real dollars, how much Boomers paid into the system for what they get back? It was not Boomers that failed to invest the money and borrowed it for the general fund to spend on other things. It was our leaders and most importantly the Progressives who did that.

Do you accept blame for Biden who was in fact put in office by the young vote?

He will leave office having spent more and having given away more taxpayer money than anyone in history. Age is not the problem, it's ideology that's the issue. You've messed up and gone after the wrong target. What you're complaining about has to do with ideology and not age.

I suspect that you knew that when you posted this? Bait much?

Once again it's a generational cultural problem.

Reread my last post and see if age is the culprit or the mindset of a generation.

Fear is a great tool and they have used it to control the masses.

No, it's not. It's an emotion, not a tool.

I think you mean fearmongering or trying to scare people - that can be seen as a tool or tactic.

That only works for ignorant masses, not all masses. It only works for those that look, but don't see - hear, but don't listen, receive, but don't process, and so on.

Did the Oiled One tell us we should be scared, or did this Cosmic Messenger bring us information from our Creator-Father that we need NOT be afraid because He knows what we need?

Have you ever heard of the phrase; 'Ye little of faith'?

Why would you abandon the Creator and ignore what he told us through The Christ-Entity? He will take care of us.

OF COURSE your faith will be tested, whyever would it not? Of course you can feel fear. You don't have to let it dictate your choices or actions, though.

Remember that brave is not the one that's not afraid, but the one that IS afraid, and yet dares.

Be afraid if you want, but have faith and be brave. Show the Creator you heard his message and realize you don't have to worry.
