That does seem to be a peculiarly display of pageantry for the opening of a tunnel.

That was incredible. Thx.

Pretty sure this has made the rounds the video you linked was from ‘16 and not the first of its kind. But yeah it was a creepy ceremony.

It's part of alpine culture. We dress up every year like crampus to drive out the winter. It's not satanic. Lol

What did the guy wearing ultra long horned sheeps head represent?

The subject was widely discussed on ATS during and shortly after the ceremony.

I hear CERN is going to be up to some occultist activity, I believe next month. Figured these topics would come up along with that.

It's a Krampus or Berchten, it represents all the evil, the thought behind it is to be scarier than evil demons to make them run away.

Exactly!

The following source mentions the "the Myths of the Massif". Looking for more info on it.

Might be prudent to avoid using that tunnel. Just saying...

As of August 2017, an average of 10,400 people cross the tunnel daily.

That is very interesting. What did the beheadings represent? And the 3 flying figures in the white long dresses?

Occult or pagan rituals are not necessarily Satanic and even Satan has different meanings to different groups. If this is pagan, then it celebrates fertility, nature gods and animal instincts, very base and a really low target spiritually speaking. In my opinion they should seek blessings from the creator, not the creation.

However, if this is really traditionally Satanic, then it would be praising human characteristics like pride, selfishness, greed, strong over the weak, materialism, lies, corruption and generally being an adversary of God. Not the aspects of human nature that should be praised IMO. If that is the case, I'd call this a curse rather than a blessing ritual.

Good luck explaining any non-American cultural roots here. The OP seems to live under the delusion that anything Old World old is evil.

Perpetuating and peddling your own ignorance of established regional culture abroad as black & white proof of your definition of "evil" does you no favors. It only serves to make you look stupid.

It must get pretty tiring for these folks that see satanists and occultists everywhere they look, not to mention having to keep up with those(surprisingly inept) monsters in the Illuminati controlling the world using low IQ popstars, CNN and hybrid sportscars.
Oh well, at least they have a hobby!
